THIS is the patch I have been waiting for!!! Adding some GREAT additions to the Toolset!! And Kobolds! Now we need Beholders, Mind Flayers and Gelatinous Cubes! [img]smile.gif[/img]

The content installer is ABOUT TIME!! Now, it'll work like Unreal T2K3, and if you have a mod with custom items, it'll download them too!

I think I'll be holding off on this patch...I've got a number of HakPaks and 3P scripts in my mod, and since it seems like a lot of server admins are holding off as well I don't want to get locked out of half the multi games available.

Here are the known issues with the 1.25 patch:

#1 direct connect on the LAN page crashing the game

#2 AC modifiers such as Mage Armor, Shadow Shield and Barbarian rage not working

#3 certain words locking up the client in GameSpy chat

#4 Double-clicking on GameSpy chat names no longer causing a direct tell

Plus a number of unconfirmed bugs related mainly to 3P scripting and custom content, and a number of MP issues.

Bioware have responded to the furore by quickly releasing a 1.26 Beta patch:

This is a BETA only - it will probably not get finalized till Monday.

Download the 1.25 at your own risk. ;)

My understanding is that the modules are branded 1.25 after the update. You can't go to a lower version and use them now, but they'll be ok to play and hopefully, the 1.26 patch coming out next week will solve the problems.
