Playing a human cleric, and enjoying it greatly. I rarely use potions, at least until I get so many I'm having trouble fitting them into bags. The Animal domain rocks! If I had it to do over again, I would take the Sun domain over the Healing domain (once you get tons of potions, the extra healing makes little difference).

Im playing a fighter/thief. I like not having to pay 2 points to get thief class skills and the sneak attack comes in handy. I think for my next time through I wil try a ranger/sorceror.

Oh yeah! At level 4, my dire wolf often does 20-40 damage and he's a very tough meatshield. I let him and Grimgnaw do the bashing while my cleric/rogue casts spells and disarm traps etc...

I am a bit pissed that they kill everything before i can manage a good backstab though.

Lots of grass eating pointy eared elves around here.
Oh wait... that'd be me too

elven sorceror here. im also doing an elven fighter/wizard, and an elven ranger/rogue. i love elves, and i like the different classes, so im playing around with them. i have a 20th level elven sorceror too, that i played, and am going to use as a powerhouse of a non attainable NPC in the module that im working on.

Elven sorceress here Choosing the panther is great, cos it gets many sneak attacks and certainly has saved me more than a couple of times :D The only catch is every so often, I have to rest to get those spells back...

at first i resorted to powergaming, playing a ranger/fighter and trying to maximize my stats. I deleted him anc started over with a ranger/ rogue because i think that these classes compliment each other and offer good roleplaying possibilities

Hmmmm...I'm currently playing a single class Paladin (human, although it's my understanding that 3ed allows other races). It seemed like an easy class (it's fighterish, high charisma and all)...and his strength is pretty sick (16 + 3 for the upgraded barbarian amulet and +2 for the gauntlets of ogre power and +3 for the belt of giant strength I found...so he's at, um, 24 :) )...

I plan on trying out either a dwarven fighter (something's just right about a dwarf and an axe)...or else a sorceror or something like that (obviously not dwarven tho)

Playying a 10th level Druid/ 4th level Rouge is lots of fun and very versatile but not too challenging so far as i'm in Luskan chapter two. I have a henchman(the Barbarian), my animal companion,(10th level Bear and a summoned animal(dire tiger) We are a squad of four.

I took enough levels of thief to push the trap/lock stats over 40 natural with a few item I collected. I hate not being able to get in a chest and being zapped by traps so I took just enough thief to still rise fairly high as a druid.

I'm pleasantly suprised by the power of the druid, very versatile.I've pushed my dex up to 26 with items and took wisdom points up to 18 so far when I 4-leveled so I have a decent AC and access to high spells.

I opted for dual welding and use a double sword. That makes this druid unafraid and prepared to enter melee just after I rain down one, two, three, call lightining spells, and one more Maximized to boot if they are still standing, upon some poor monster's ass.

Ah, Call Lightning. That spell will destroy chests and other destructable placeables nearby as well as fry adversaries, very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway when I voted, Druid had like 3%, so I figured I would share why I think it is very kick ass!

Great Poll! And after viewing the results, all I have to say is so much for Rangers "sucking" as most people were saying since the 3rd edition rules were rolled out. Interesting too that nobody really likes using non-human-like characters (i.e. dwarves, halfings, gnomes, etc.)
