But it seems to be more trouble than it's worth. Spoiler... + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + If you give this cursed sword to Kaigan or any NPC, then invite him back into your party and have him ATTACK your injured party member(s), it will actually heal the attacked person. This obviously drains the attacker's health points, but in the case of Kaigan (I think it's because he's a Dwarf) he will regenerate his health after you dump him from your party and leave him, then go back to him the next day after he regenerates health. Do this whenever you need a quick healing. But like I said, this method of healing tends to be more trouble than it's worth. |
Not much, but here's another thing about Ulcaster: The book which Ulcaster wants can also be found twice in Gullykin houses. Bring him those one by one and you'll get more xp.

Never did the quest myself. Never did the stuff about giving Ulcaster more than one book either. I am an XP-holic, but not by cheese or cheating. It would be easier to just use an editor.

I was just looking at what you wrote Sir Heinrich and I am saddened by your lack of respect for the mighty Kagain. I too have tried the "use the sword to heal your friends" tactic and found it too much hassle to bother with, BUT I would never steal his HP and throw him out of the party. Now which of you is the evil character. Why would you want to ditch a great fighter (who regenerates HP), just to replace him with some pansy Elf or whimpy Ranger. LoL.
