They should get the maps of all the places that you could print out with where all the treasure chests and stuff are on it for this website!

Try the link in my last post. There are walk throughs for all the dungeons, and some maps as well. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...ons/icon31.gif

Unlikely that Activision will do anything to support this game, they really don't care much about it. There is a strategy guide for this game but it isn't called the "tome of misinformation" for nothing. I have a copy and will sometimes refer to it but rarely. Xignal was much more accurate in his walkthru. ;)

Xignal, on the other hand, did a wonderful job putting together a walkthru with lots of pictures and maps. Packrat already posted the link! :D

To respond specifically to the question about how training works...

When you train at a guild, you immediately get the benefit of training. For example, if you train in Stonecraft level 6, you immediately have access to level 6 Stone spells. You can't do any more training at that guild, however, until you advance another level.

So saying that your training is "complete" when you advance to your next level is, IMHO, almost correct. It completes at that point, but you get the benefits beforehand.

And as for the Stout Mines, I made liberal use of the automap flags to let me know where I needed to go. Used the same technique in a certain shrine you'll come to later.

I have question about certain skills. Does it make sense to raise skills such as Prowess, Gallantry, Leadership, Athletics? Aren't they useful only on higher levels (10 or so)? And second - what do I need to "hide in shadows"? Manual says that there is a function icon, that should bring a list of available special skills, but there is only "Dragon breath" and it doesn't seem to do anything. Thx for answer guys.

And in what way is the Leadership useful anyway? According to manual it should "motivate" other characters, but how? Does it make them strike more often or what? I'm asking because in some faqs that issue is also unclear.

Well, let´s see... Raise prowess and gallantry all the way up since they (in order) increases attack speed using weapons and improves the chance of making a succesful attack and the damage of the attack. To get the ability to hide in shadows with that button you´ll have to get the cloak of night trait. As for leadership, does it do anything? I haven´t noticed and never use it.

LEADERSHIP - according to the Tome of Misinformation:

This reduces the ability of monsters to make successful strikes on the character and reduces damage by hand weapons to the character, however, the character is targeted more often.

SO - if you want your fighter to be targeted more often than your wizard this could be useful. I don't think you ever really notice in the game what it is doing unless you are extremely observant.

Aaaah, something like the vinespell lure then. Wow, they do have a lot in common, none of them works, lol....
