I might recommend Tom Bombadil, he's kinda like a leprechaun, fairy, satyr, small woodland creature thing.

I have a friend who owns some sort of small green bird. He calls it his "three inch green prick" and we nicknamed it "Prixus" as a result. I have opted to use this as the name for my solo Pixie (Wizard 7 -> Warlock 3 so far). Just thought I would throw in my $0.02 worth.
