Definitely swords, staffs, daggers...possibly one character with mace, since there's that VERY nice "Mace of Mangling" later in the game (past Brimloch Roon). Don't bother with the rest.

If you click on and off the character several times when getting a quest, you get multiple experience and multiple promotions; thus, you can actually get guild level 7 by Valeia and Ishad N'ha in all guilds.
