ROFL, I was picking at a nick on my sword! I had forgotten to have it repaired I guess!

Moni, please get that nick on your sword out of the way before your character shaves with it again. That can be very messy.
Adam, there are a number of things in the game you can target, but can do nothing with, like urns, ale kegs and the famous heap of sand before the Temple of Isis. I bet they were put there to confuse players, and make the important objects less obvious.
Worse is that you can (and must) also 'carry' items you can't seem to target, like large statues and obelisks. You'll find out.
