One of the lines i like is actually from the NPC smith in Beregost when you go to talk to him he says " I can getcha whatever ya need for a wweee bit more than my compitetion."

i like it when you speak to perdue in bergost and he asks u to get his short sword back from a gnoll for 50g, wipe its arse with it and u reply " for 50g it can wipe it,s own arse with it".

Did any of you ever heard the town crier of Beregost say, at a certain moment;

"I'm actually quite shy"

I only heard it once and I have played the game several times;

Furthermore, I believe Xzar outrules Minsc:

"I wanted infravision like the elves...

But 't is more than just taking their eyes"

or

"I've seen dragons with feet like rabbits; 't is true I swear!"

One of the weirdest lines i heard is from a guy in a inn room upstairs..forgot the name it has the paladin with the half ogre story and the dwarf who had his cloak stolen...anyway the guy is paranoid about the paladin staring at him with 'those' eyes and his last line is something like "research proves that playing with a barrel full of monkeys is quite dangerous and is horrifying" its along the lines of that. if anyone knows what it is tell me please! because the guy talks to you after like nothing happened.
The best bit about it though is the protoganists reply
"Ooooooohhhhhhhhh Kaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy!"

I think most of the NPCs lines are funny... Jaheria... when you continually click on her... haha. "Ach What is it now? Need you're pantaloons pressed?" lol, and "If a tree falls in the forest.... I'll kill the bastard what done it" thats hilarous. Sarevok's funny too...

This was a conversation with a gnome outside Baldurs Gate who wants to join the party and is one of my faviourite lines in the game.

Gnome-Hey ho there fellow travellers! You look to be wandererd of the adventure sort. Tell me, what direction calls you?

Me-I am procedding in a northerly direction this day.

Gnome-it is the same as I! Surley this lends us a familiar bond of sorts. The smart move would be to travel as one, especially with the number of bandits in the area. You probably need the counter-balance of my intelligence as well.
