sorceror's are good if you know exactly what kind of spells you're going to want to use at any given point in the game
but mage's are handy in that if you find you need a spell you don't have you can just get a scroll and memorize it.

i would totally have to agree with spydar on this one.My favorite spell to use is the fireball and i was lost without it at the beginning but the first chance i had to buy the scroll i took it and now am a much happier gamer

Sorcs tend to be better the 2nd time you play the game, after you've played a wizard the 1st time thru and know which spells that you like.

But wizards are better tomulti if you want to multi to fighting classes. The feat and proficiency benefits are really good.

?? Why sorcerers can be multied to fighter just as well.

The feat benefits are mainly the reason. And a fighter/spellcaster is more likely to need a higher level spell for a good buff then several lower level ones.

I really like to multi class a Monk Of The Dark Moon into a sorcer because it makes a really balenced char. A monk dosent use any Armor and has really good fighting abilities, plus you can wear a robe without taking away from your wisdom bonus.
Also when you multi class a Monk Of The Darks Moon into a Sorcer you can contiue in either class. Anyway it's cool
