Drow have +2 level adjustment(with hey start level 1 with 5000 exp and they need 10 000 for level 3), that's why she's slow. If I were you, I'd kick Vraedna out, input her at level 1 as sorcerer(or remodel her) and then cheat her to her old XP status. Just remember to save her equipment on some other character.
To cheat do this: -go to the game configuration menu -go to game and tick "Enable Cheat Console" To give Vraedna her old XP status, write down her old one, redo her and press "CTRL" and "TAB" simultaneously. In the cheat console write ctrlaltdelete:setcurrentxp(her old xp) and then "ENTER". |
And now to clarify on her:
A sorcerer and a wizard have the same spells. Wizards gain spells faster, sorcerers cast more spells per day(but know less spells). Wizards learn spells from scrolls while sorcs learn them as they level. You should not put these two together because it's a terrible strain on ability scores for nothing. You should not experience the XP penalty in two cases: the multi-calss character is a male; the levels are at most one level apart. A Drow male's favoured class is wizard while a female's is cleric. |
damn you know to much :D
suzie, rather than having to learn from scrolls to add spells like a wizard does, a sorcerer can inherit them naturally when leveling up, but that way he/she has less spells to use but far more quantity of what he/she has because they are naturally inherited [ 11-27-2003, 07:41 PM: Message edited by: espeed ] |
Wizards' only advantages are extra feats, weapon proficiency and versatility. If you want a walking artillery platform, take a sorcerer. If you want a GI with a bazooka, machinegun, sniper, grenades, nuke, pea-shooter, EMP rifle, jammer device and an artillery cannon, you take a wizard.
And as for the knowledge, I've beaten IWD2 a dozen times already. :D And it's still a great game. |

And one more thing, with a specialist/sorcerer there is a bug that allows you to memorize even your opposition class spells.... Similar one is for specialist/cleric if your oppsing school spell is also a cleric spell then you can memorize it too. |
nah, he's right, male wizard female cleric, all in line with the drizzt books :D
it's the only place i've read about them |
i have a problem. i wrote down the exp, moved the items onto my other characters, deleted her, made a new one, redone her exp..... the level worked, but i have a problem. shes lost half her life... shes got 33 life at lvl 12, she used to have 66... and theyve also only allowed me to add only 3 of those improvement skills. shes had like 8 of then during my levels (improved armor, weapon masteries etc) help?

Sorcerers have 1d4 health, mages have a bonus feat every five levels. I think you either have a CON score under 10, or you ticked the "Max Hp per Level-up" off.
