Now that Level 3 skull bomb spell is good...at long range anyway.

Chromatic orb does become extremely powerful at high levels, though...

Yeah it is strong in theory but does anyone here use it effectively without the enemy saving against it every time?

Low on spells, and party taking damage but slowly winning the final battle in Balduran's ship, Dynaheir casts Chromatic Orb at Karoug and it drops him. I'm sure that he was down to the point that he would die if sneezed on, but the Chromatic Orb did work for me! [img]smile.gif[/img] The others are correct, it's much better in SoA.
