What level Rogue? And does she have the Rapid Shot feat? If she's low level and doesn't have it, it will take longer in between shots. Also if you're going to have her use the bow exclusively, you should take the Point Blank feat too.

level 3 already. just entered chapter 1. I want my rogue to exclusively use bow only because I'm tired of using rogue with dagger/short sword.

I have a ranger/rogue she's great!! Dual wielding short swords, deadly with her bow! 10 levels of rogue is enough believe me! (to get special rogue feats) put rest in ranger or ranger/fighter to get more feats!!

I love my ranger/fighter/rogue (no xp penalty)

Yeah, no resting required - you turn the feat on and basically just leave it on and you'll be getting an extra shot per round (does make the shots -2 to hit though, but it's worth it).

At level 3, rogues have one attack per round. Two with a bow and rapid shot. Longbows are generally better than shortbows. As mentioned above, rapid shot stays on until you turn it off. Same for things like power attack and expertise.
