I hit up level 1 of Watcher's Keep for items eaaaaarly on in any SoA file I start. Can't pass up that +3 dart, which does a good job until I get the souped up throwing dagger. |

When are those enemies decided? When you activate the altar, when you enter watchers keep level 1, or when you enter the watchers keep map?
Any ideas on the experience levels required? Does it depend on the combined experience of the party as a whole, or of your top character, or average? |
The presence of those 4 enemies is determined by either the PC's EXP, or the party's average EXP (I'm not sure which), upon entering WK level 1. It should be safe to go there after you're about 1 million EXP of so, but make sure you check the enemies: If they're not there, reload your Auto-Save and come back to the Keep later in the game.

Ah. I went in there with a 4.5 million experience solo char. There were three enemies.
Last time I was there, I recall an annoying druid who cast an insect spell. I believe it was the bottom right of the four positions. |
