Don't forget the largest of them all (from the 1st ed Monster Manual) Storm Giants! So from my rapidly fading memory: Hill, Stone, Frost, Fire, Cloud, and Storm were the major species of giants

A scene I'd like to see:
Party enters the Small Teeth Pass, and casually slaughters the handful of Orcs they bump into. Party starts exploring the map, and the Tank steps on the invisible script trigger-point. Cloud Giant- HEADS UP. A Comet spell is cast at the trigger-point, injuring any party members that happen to be nearby. Cloud Giant- SORRY. And that's it. He didn't mean to drop that rock, he just didn't see you. Won't happen again. :D |
Are cloud giants good aligned?

The largest among the giants are actually Titans. They form the basis of the high Strength definition:
Hill - 19 Stone - 20 Frost - 21 Fire - 22 Cloud - 23 Storm - 24 Titan - 25 Remember back in BG1? You could buy a single potion of Titan strength at the Nashkel fair. It had some *ahrm* unfortunate side effects, but that could be compensated by drinking other potions. By drinking four potions good old Imoen could have these stats: www.dsr.kvl.dk/~maddog/baldr011.gif In BG1 mind you. A critical backstab did more than 120 points of damage. POW. Down Sarevok down. I think the highest in BG2/TOB are Pots of Storm Giant Strength, though I am frequently mistaken. EDIT: Ups. URL typo. Bad bizz. [ 04-29-2004, 11:36 PM: Message edited by: mad=dog ] |
