I don't know why it shouldn't affect them. Vorpal is more insta-kill than a Deathbringer assault, I'd say.

It's also not like the ToB is crawling with mustard jellies. Though, personally, I think I'd rather fight the boss you do than said boss's level/HD equivalent in mustard jellies. Especially if they summoned more mustard jellies. They've been a plague on me since the first game!

Mustard jellies aren't really what I'd call a boss ;) </font>[/QUOTE]i insta killed a mephit, the greatest monster of them all with an unarmed deathbringer...was i surprised when instead of knocking it silly, it died from my pc's mighty fists...so yes, it seems regardless of whatever weapon you have, it does mondo piercing damage..

Seems like sort of a waste. I'd be furious if that happened to me.. but where are mephits in ToB? Watcher's Keep? I don't remember.

urm...i mentioned i gave deathbringer to certain fighters in my party as an experiment...this was in irenicus dungeon, i was fooling around with bashing and stunning creatures, and one time my fists did death bringer...no weapon, just fists..

Some creatures (like drow) will take significantly less damage from this attack. I think it's about 25 damage. But it doesn't matter, he's still an uber character [img]smile.gif[/img] .
