Gotta side with Six here. I have done the Jaheira quest using my brain, followed by at least 3 guides, and never have I not had to, to use a quote from SixofSpades "give her a boot to the head every time she gets stuck." I quite like that phrase, Six. :D

I'm not one to normally kiss and tell, but Jahiera has finnaly made my day [img]graemlins/blueblink.gif[/img] just before killing jon boy. Now I have started TOB does the romance continue or is it just a one night stand?

You misunderstand me, Six. I meant to say that you initially rejected Xzar. Doing Jaheira's romance so late in the game is bound to cause complications.

Okay, will somebody please send me the names and addresses of the BioWare scripters who said, "Hey, let's make the Jaheira Quest and Romance Chapter-dependent," so I can buy a car, drive cross-country and kick their asses.

Then they will call the DIBs( Developers In Black) to kidnap you, haul you to some deserted warehouse on an black isle and scream at you while continously playing Anomen's sound scripts in the background.

"YOU try writing the scripts within a week!"

I'll join you in that cross country drive now. I installed the flirt pack and am trying to get the stupid bandits to show up, and they won't. I've slept at Nalia's keep outside (after it goes to the Roenall's) and the Druid Grove (out in BFE), and no bandits. I even tried hiking to the Umar Hills and sleeping there, with no luck. How do you trigger the stupid bandits to show up?

Oh, and I started having this problem the day you described your current problems with the romance (omen?).

Yesterday, I completely restarted the game. Same PC, same NPCs, same quest order, etc. Same as before, we zipped through Chapters 2 & 3, with Improved de'Arnise being our only major quest, although this time through, we did Xzar and Ployer right away. We just got to Brynnlaw.
Romance Status: After each LoveTalk, I try to initate a flirt. No dice yet, but we're still not very far (I think we're on the one after "A copper for your thoughts"). However, we zipped to Chapter 4 even quicker on our previous game, and still got a few flirts in before Chapter 4.
Quest Status: It's been more than a week since we handed over the Harper Bird.....and STILL no F'n Meronia!!!

You guys are tempting me to try the Jaheira romance a second time and complete it again. Considering my opinion of Jaheira, that is quite a feat.
