Is that all I can do. Any uninstall????

Uninstall AScension with ascension setup, Uninstall ToB with add/remove programs.

You may have problems re-installing SoA though, sometimes the registry gets knacked and the game thinks its already installed. Thats fixable though. GIve it a try and see how it goes.

And before giving it a try, make sure you have your savefiles stored somewhere safe. Just copy the bg2\saves folder to desktop, thatll do it.
