And they're working mighty fine too! :D

I rest my case.

On a side notice, in what sense is it worse than a bag of holding?

It can't hold as many items, about 12/15 IIRC. </font>[/QUOTE]it unfortunately only holds 10 items. It's great for starting solo-ists however since inventory space is very limited.

This would seem to indicate that Kyrvias is an insectoid creature. ;)

Well, what's with the gullibility that's been floating around the last few days? Did they just come out with a new Secrets of Amn site or something? Boots of Stomping, Gemjump Scroll... My goodness.

I still like the "rationale" I cooked up for those Empty Potion bottles a long time ago: In Bodhi's Lair there's a guy named Phaedron, who's got really high resistances to everything, so he'll run in, beat on a couple of your guys for a round or two, and then when he gets to Badly Injured, he'll run away really really really fast, drink some Healing potions, and then come back. Over and over. But here's the trick: He doesn't wear Boots. So if you've got at least one Empty Potion Bottle and a weapon that does Blunt damage, you can scatter broken glass over the path that Phaedron would have to take to come back to you. He's barefoot, so when he steps on the glass, he takes massive penalties to his Movement Rate and Dexterity, and you can kill him. Caution: Any party member who doesn't have something in their Boot slot will suffer the same penalties if they walk through the area of the broken glass, and take Bleeding damage for the next 10 rounds.

:D

That sounds oddly specific...

I remember falling for that story a year or 2 ago, although it was in a lair in ToB instead of in SoA ;)
