Just a question about Imoen, is she supposed to get more memorization slots than others? Cause I changed her into a mutli-class thief/mage and she had one extra slot for each spell level, making me think it was a bug, so I removed them. Then she leveled in her thief class, and regained the extra slots, making me go 'wtf'. So I made some boots to remove those slots, but now everyone is like "oh imoen is such a great mage and cool and i want her to have my babies" so I'm thinking maybe she's supposed to have those extra slots.
So is it a bug because I changed her class type, or what?

Level of her Mage class and number of spell slots please.

ADD] Oh, and whether you have the Ease of Use mod installed.

That taking Imoen is the most reasonable choice...

Mostly because, well what use is giving 20000 gp
just for a trip to a pirate island and getting your ass whopped by Irenicus, Yoshimo and their ASSassins...

...yeah, while the party's real Thief runs around opening locks, disarming traps, and stealthing ahead to scout out the enemy. There are much better uses for 200 permanent Thieving points than the 15 minutes it takes to rob all the robbable merchants blind.

Bithron, your post contains a spoiler. Edit please.

Doesn't matter what level she is, she ALWAYS has one more slot for all spell levels than what a PC-created character of the same level has. The same thing happened when I changed that TOB-guy we're not supposed to talk about into a multi thief/mage, so I guess it's some weird bug.

I have ease-of-use, but I don't have the un-nerfed thac0 and divine spell progession stuff installed.

People actually use the pick pocket skill?

Good Pickpockets = not having to pay for anything from certain places like Trademeet (Tansheron's Bow, Blackblood club, Ras the Dancing Blade, Cloak of Displacement, Belt of Inertial Barrier) or any other store you can steal from.

Also, certain people in the game have items you can Pick Pocket off of them, for instance Aran Linvail has a Ring of Djinni Summoning you can filch off of him. (Unique property to this ring is that if the Djinni dies, the ring breaks)

Ah, but Neo... Depending on the order you do quests, finances shouldn't be a problem in Trademeet. Pick Pockets has already outlived its shoplifting use at that point. As for Aran and Rybald and such folk... there are potions and spells and items to help for that sort of thing.

besides, the djinn gives you Ras for completing his quest, while another belt of intertial barrier could always be found later on incase you can't afford it. The only thing I ever bother stealing is:

There's another belt of intertial barrier? I've only ever found the one, that the merchant sells. Where's the other?
