Here's a trick that always works for me. Unfortunately it requires four things. First you need to have thief to disarm traps, secondly you need a mage, and thirdly (most important) you need wands of summoning. Have your thief, while invisible sneak up and search out the traps. Don't disarm them because you'll alert the skeletal warriors. Now arm everyone with either slings or bows and make sure they have plenty of bullets and arrows. This trick will work at any level, trust me ;) . Now summon two sets of creatures and have them march down the hallway right up in front of the skeletal warriors. Move in with your thief and while the summoned monsters fight you can safely disarm the traps. Also send in your guys and gals with the slings and bows to start shooting down the skeletons. Summon more monsters when you need them but only when you need to, save your wands for later on. (Don't be wasteful)
This tactic worked for me at a level 5 and even 4 when I was rushing through. Takes awhile to finally shoot the warriors down if you use regular arrows but its better than charging in to the slaughter.

Whats going on here?How weak are your characters?
I have a fighter...human...eventually dual classed.
after using a potion of invisibility on imoen and disarming the traps......my fighter ,,lord british...long sword +2 shield plus 1
str 19 dex 19 con 19.....after using the appropriate tomes...absolutely ripped the skeleton warriors apart.Use a potion of speed and a potion of cloud giant strength and watch the wussies fall.
i had no problem taking them on once the traps are disarmed.
If u happen to take some nasty damage just use a potion of health.
A potion of invunerability helps too.
