I don't know what Difficulty setting you plan to use, Pyrenk, but I defeated Improved Illyich 2.0 with my solo Skald - and didn't even use the Acorns until the very last part of the battle with the Glabrezu.

That was on Normal Difficulty, but if I could beat Improved Illyich in my first ever solo attempt with a class I've never played before, surely a more veteran player that decides to take along some party members would have an even easier time of it.

ive noticed that regen items dont seem to stack with eachother unless they are the same regen rate (2 rings of regen is 2 per round). When i put on gaxx and ring of regen tho, i seem to get the 1 per .5 round all the time instead of 1, then 2, then 1 etc...

Sanchuudoki or whatever has highest regen rate of 3 per round along with axe of the unyeilding.

Cloak of the sewers indirectly has the troll function which is like 4-5 per round.

According to my ADnD 2nd edition manual, regeneration starts at con 20 at 1/6 turns up to 25 which is 1/turn.

Swashbucklers seem like a better fit for the musketeers, simply because kensais just cant wear armor and the game gets crazy when you cant wear armor. Also, the musketeers DID wear leather armor, though they didnt dual wield regularly. Maybe its just because i love thieves.

Actually, Sanchuudoku regenerates with speed 1 HP/2 seconds.
The AoU +3 regenerates 1 HP/round.
The AoU +5 regenerates 3HP/round.

Priest spell regeneration regenerates with 18 HP per round. :D

I'm going to try this after I install The Darkest Day. Be a wizard. All of the mages who are not evil are dual-classed. Or a mage multi-class. (Fighter/Mage comes to mind) Or for more challenge, be a Wild Mage(only if you have ToB)
with a 5% chance everytime you cast a spell of a wild surge ocurring it can be tough.(Save Often! Wild Surges are very unpredictable. You may find yourself the target of your spell or that your spell has been cast multiple times or a number of other things,100 in all)

Sorry to be a spoilsport and all, but doesn't this take the fun out of being a "wild" mage? If you save too much you won't get to roleplay all those scenarios that crop up when your wild surge happens!

Well, given that it is possible, though highly unlikely, that you could drop 3 Fireballs on your party while trying to cast a simple Stoneskin, saving often is advised. Ignoring most detrimental effects is also advised, of course, for maximum enjoyment of the Wild Mage class.
