We all know how much you love your Sorcerer, Xen. I need something fun to play with >.< Too bad you can't use the BMU's Frag Grenades without equipping the armor itself...

Well, recently I have had tons of fun with the NPC banter.I'm playing with a party of Jaheira, Minsc, Mazzy, Jan and Nalia. A balanced and powerful party.

Nalia's (I've never liked her enough to play with her past the keep before) comments about Isea cracked me up. And Minsc's occasional conversations comments to the protaganist are hilarious.

Later, I will replace Nalia with Imoen, and I MIGHT replace Mazzy with (someone from ToB), depending on how well she holds her own through the rest of SoA. She has only had one good banter so far-the one with Jeheira regarding my leadership abilities.

On the downside, my R/C protaganist dual wielding flails isn't inspiring me. Ah, well.

I don't ever play with npcs anymore. I just play with a team of custom characters, because, frankly I think the npcs are pretty bad... I would like to give them their own conversations, to make the game more enjoyable. Not make them downloadable as NPCs, as they would be overpowered [img]tongue.gif[/img] .

I gently insist that the above post is edited... This is the second time in the last 14 hours someone's let the ToB NPC's name slip on this board, and so I'd like everyone to be mindful that this is the SoA board and people might get angry if you spoil them without a ToB Spoiler tag. I know I'd be irritated.

The most fun I have had in this game was the encounter with the spectator beholder. This guy is CULT!!!

Illumina, wouldn't "most fun you've ever had in this game" imply spoilers? What if someone had the most fun against the end boss? That sort of thing. Sure, the ToB NPC is in...well...ToB, but it's still this game *shrug*

That's why it was a suggestion, and not a demand. I'm in no position to force, and don't like demanding... I've just seen quite a bit of slippage lately.

about the ToB spoiler thing,

based on the current spoiler and board policy, this forum is for SoA only (we have other two for ToB and BG/TotSC). So, the *this game* in this thread header should mean SoA ONLY, but not BG series as a whole. Therefore, putting any ToB (and BG/TotSC) related contents should be considered as spoilers. The thread header indeed implies that it's a spoiler thread, but it doesn't indicate itself as a SoA/ToB spoiler thread.
There are people who never play BG/TotSC yet playing SoA/ToB, and there are people not getting into ToB yet and so on many situations. If you want to talk about what's the most fun playing the whole BG saga or SoA with ToB installed or SoA -> ToB, say so in your header, otherwise in the SoA forum, it simply means what's the most fun playing SoA (not included ToB).

I personally don't like spoiler polices but all spoilers should be treated in the same manner (I've been warned quite a few times myself).
