~ ~ ~ ~ You must be a much better player than I am. When I walk into a high level battle for the first time I usually get slaughtered. I felt good when it only took me three times to kill Firkkrag. Also I don't like to ressurrect npcs. That feels to unreal to me, so if somebody goes down I feel I've lost. I'll usually play it out to learn how to beat the opponent when I reload and start again. If I get through a tough one and lose one of my people I'll raise them but I don't feel like I beat it. Maybe I'll try just balls out like you say. I do have two RoR. (guess I'll be looking at the hand soon.) |
Well i don`t know for you but like I play(Insane,Tactics,Battels and Ascension) you just <u>have</u> to buff. If you don`t you are pretty much doomed. When someone hits you per about 20-30 dmg on averege and about 50 on critical you don`t live very long. So you maybe don`t like buffing but i rather spend that 5-10 mins to buff and then surivive instead reloading 20+ times.

I guess the main popint I was tying make got lost. Would it be possoble for some who knows how to create mods be able to create a way to queue up the most common spells (stone skins, Spirit or ghost armor, pfe, etc.)it really would speed up the game and take some the repetitiveness out of preping for battle.

Here's the American description: @302 = ~PARTY AUTO-BUFF: ~ @303 = ~This script will allow any spellcaster to buff the entire party rapidly when no enemies are present. Press "S" for Slow, Long-Lasting buffs (typically spells that last for a long time and should be cast whenever you wake up), "F" for Fast, Combat buffs (typically spells that last just a few rounds, use before the big fights), "D" for Free-Action (which lasts a short time and messes up haste) and "N" for Melf's Meteors. Buffs will be cast on the PC first and then all other party members. Memorize six copies of any spell you want to affect everyone. This script also automatically drinks healing potions, detects traps, and attacks enemies (spellcasters, then mundanes).~ |
Thanks Weimer I'll check that out.

I'd say... the auto-buff scripts were the only things that kept me replaying BGII in the first place. God, having a party with a druid a cleric and two spellcasters is a damn nightmare. </font> |
That is cool Wes! I think i will install it! for you!

there are a few buffs I use before the fights... things like remove fear, chaotic commands (well i usually don't have any priest in my group, but when I do...) and sometimes stoneskin... its good to have this last one always active |
