Well, even if it does that, it also checks the electrical resistance of your target, so even if the +4 may be good enough, the arrows may be pretty if your target has descent electrical resistance. I simply liked the bow because I didn't have to stock up on arrows and also keep extra arrows in my inventory to refill every now and then. This also saved some inventory slots.

Save extreme circumstances... nobody will ever use the phantom arrows of Gesen because it deals a paltry base 2 damage(normal arrows deal 1d6(3.5 on average)) plus the electrical damage. What most people do is to use arrows with TSBoGesen and enhance the arrows' damage.

Tansheron Bow is much better for your phantom arrow needs. It shoots +3 enchanted arrows that have a base damage of 1d6.

Well, that's something new to me. I didn't know that you could use arrows and the phantom arrows at the same time. That makes for much better damage ;)
