She still gets weapon proficiencies when she levels up as a cleric. Just take flail and you are all set.

I have Aerie in my current party, coincidentally toting the FoA and wearing the Girdle of HG Strength, and she's a terror. The monsters better HOPE you're using her as a tank, because if you give that little lady room to breath, she's deadly. She's my official dragonslayer. The tanks distract, Aerie throws a few lower resistances, a greater malison, a doom, and then gives the big reptile the finger. Ooops.

My point is, if you think Aerie is useless, then you have absolutely no imagination.

I think in later games after ToB, The Winged-Elves god/goddess or someother diety should allow her wings to heal, that way she'd be a flying tank. [img]smile.gif[/img]

JCompton, that was a dialog.tlk problem that we solved on the ToB board. I still remember Kelsey charging at my party at Mach II with his hair on fire and saying that important message. It makes me smile. [img]smile.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img]

BluePaladin, there is no such thing as a useless character unless you're powergaming. (Although I agree with the sentiment. I was tempted to feed the whiny Avariel to the wolves.)

The Flail of Ages carries a strength requirement, and if Aerie's wearing a strength girdle or drank a strength potion, she can wield it.

Gangrell, that's the thing. I couldn't get past her depressive whining all the time. If I wanted to hear female whining, I'd walk out of my room and take a stroll down the hall where it seems the cast of the Real World has moved in. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I have the portrait--that's my main Wild Mage, Aizawa. Demon summoner extraordinare. I found the portrait here, but WomenGamers.com has some sweet female portraits if you like realism.

Tip for portrait hunters: I'm finding a lot of NWN portraits that I like. Ever visit a "brand new" BG2 portrait site and find it's just repackaging the old (and ugly) portraits from other places? It's pretty easy to resize NWN portraits to fit BG2 specs.

You must have faith my young grasshopper, for once the whining has passed, greater treasures await you ;) She is annoying I know but she developes, slowly, but she developes.
