Anyway my favorite alignment is chaotic good but I have played a evil character to experience the evil NPC's etc. |
I tend to like Good alignments, but I just started a whole ton of new games. The reason is this: I am refraining from playing any computor games to "celebrate" lent, but I figure just rolling my guys stats doesn't count. http://community.the-underdogs.org/s...appy/wink2.gif Anyway, I just started about 5 new games that I have been wanting to play and here are all the games that I have going right now:
Neutral Good Fighter (my main game)(human) Neutral Good Ranger/Cleric(half-elf) Neutral Good Solo Mage(human) Neutral Evil Assassin(human) Lawful Good Solo Cavalir(human) Lord of the Rings all user-created party (all good alignments, obviously) I also have a game where I made an uber-powerful evil Solo sorc named Sauron that I'm just screwing around with. I intend to start the following games sometime: Evil Solo sorc (human) Neutral Bard (some kind of kit, not sure which yet)(elf) Lawful Good Monk (human) Chaotic evil Barbarian (half-orc) As you can see, I have lots of games that I intend to do! http://community.the-underdogs.org/s...py/biggrin.gif I definitely want to try every stronghold. I think I covered them all there. |
super_smasher3, for some bizarre reason, elves cannot be bards. Annoying, because many people tend to think of elves as 'the perfect bard'.

Neutral Good if the class I´m playing allows it i.e. if I´m not playing a Paladin or a Monk.

AND aren't the Elves nature lovers? That alone would make them the most "logical" choice for Druids. But they aren't. p.s. In IWD Elves DID have the option of being a druid... [ 04-20-2003, 04:37 AM: Message edited by: D*Ranged ] |
Chaotic neutral. Just do anything out of your whim.

I tend to be Chaotic Good when poking about with an unfamiliar character class, but nothing beats lawful evil. I will work the letter of the law...and woe betide you if you don't!
It's great to be back, folks... |
Pirengle, did you contact Ziroc already? he should fix your post count and member status... You probably already contacted him but about the matter but just to make sure ;)
[add] Good to have you back [add1] Chaotic Neutral is a standard here [ 04-20-2003, 12:15 PM: Message edited by: Annatar ] |

I see the whole post count and member status thing as an unnecessary status symbol. I'll post with the same frequency and (hopefully!) quality as before, and will continue to do so whether I'm a Waterdeep Guard or a Dracolich. This is the only board I've seen so far ever where the members don't use their statistics to one-up people or divide themselves into "1337" castes. If anybody tries doing that with me here, a quick PM to Dundee or Memnoch will nip that problem in the bud. But that isn't a problem. Heck, look at the post count of Kevin Dorner--I'd like to see someone call him a newbie who doesn't know what he's talking about because he's only made, what, 5 posts? :D I'm just glad to be back, and that Ironworks is still working, and that my Wild Mage luck consumed my account alone. (Pirengle: casts Nahal's Reckless Dweomer Pirengle: casts Add Reply Wild Surge: Roll Twice Wild Surge: Hey, Where Did My Account Go? Wild Surge: Hey, What Happened to the Hard Drive?) [/offtopic] 'Tis good to be back. Even though Ziroc directed his message to a potato chip can ;) :D I understood what he meant. And I can't think of Chaotic Neutral without thinking of Saemon Havarian, and how much I want to reduce his innards to chunky nibblets. On the other hand, Jan Jansen is also Chaotic Neutral, and for good reason. What do people consider to be Neutral Good? The way I see it, NG folks strive for balance on the side of justice and righteousness. But what about Imoen, the NG thief (dualed to mage)? What makes her NG? I tend to be Neutral Good in life and game, though that choice has little to do with "balance".
You see good doesn't have to be controlled by a government OR completely free of regulations. In my mind the Law is for the evil people and chaos is for those who are not well in the head (Minsc and Jan come to mind) or for those who really don't care. I try to do the right thing in every situation whether in games or real life. In real life if I can make one person's day brighter, even for a moment, then I'm doing my job right. But, of course I'm not completely free of evil spurts }8~) Like killing everone in Trademeet just for the heck of it... I didn't save it of course, but it WAS fun. Alright, enough of the huge philisophical rant, I'm Neutral Good, deal with it. |
