This is something ive never though of before. someone needs to work on a mod changing this, because, as we know, Blades are masters of all blade weapons. They NEED to be able to be GMs in it.

Frits, you know, bugs-glitches-problems-so forth. It'll either crash when it's loading or freeze up during the game. It does that to me anyway.

Going on the frits means going haywire, out of control, not working, etc. etc. If Gangrell's computer went on the frits when he tryed that, it means he messed something up and it didnt work properly.

Add: Grrrr Gangrell.. you got to it first before me you shall pay!

I don't think that the name blade reflects on its weapons chose, but more likely on his fighting style (also noted in the buggy SoA manual) they look fearsome and battle in a energetic way almost entertaining but are still very deathly.

offensive spin anyone?

[add] Spam.. euuhhh post war is so nice sometimes... Gangrell..? Xero?
I did something wrong? Not likely :D Probably just a glitch, but maybe I should've said it doesn't do it everytime, just sometimes.

Be careful of what you say Xero, I'll win this war and put you to shame :D

Grandmastery comes from dedicating your life to a weapon. Blades are Bards. They dedicate their lives to art, song, fine wines, good cheeses, musical scores, acting, far to many things to be learning about to spend all their time learning swordplay. Besides. Blades don't need Grandmastery. Not by a longshot. If you are having a problem with THAC0, it's either because you are young, or, if you are advanced enough in levels, you are doing something wrong and playing your Blade stupidly. With things like Mislead, you don't need GM. Or Tensors. Tensors gives Blades better THAC0 then most Fighter types.

If you feel the need to cheat, just stick to things like Kensai-Mages or something, Blades take skill and brains to play, not brute force. If you can't play a Blade on his own terms, you will never improve your skill and make your self a better player.

BG2 is pretty much a bet. The game's betting that you can't solve it under the rules that the game puts on you. The fun in beating a game like BG2 is that you won the bet by doing the improbable: pasting that level 30 mage's recently-turned-mortal's keister.

Blades can't dump proficiency points into everything because they're bards. Jacks of all trades, masters of none, that sort of thing. Blades also get something to make up for this, a special ability unique to their class: the Offensive and Defensive Spins. Just how important are these spins? Let's see...the big, bad dragon just ate your tank for breakfast and washed it down with your lead mage. The Badly Injured scaly now lumbers toward your bard, with dessert on its devious mind. Put on an Offensive Spin, and watch the dragon come crashing down.

All the characters and kits come with some nice benefits, but have penalties to keep the classes from becoming too powerful. I agree with Butters. If you want benefits without penalties, you might as well crack open Shadowkeeper.

[offtopic]It's posts like these that'll never let me be a dragon, green or otherwise...[/offtopic]
