This should be fine. If you decide to install WinXP over an existing PC then it's probably best to deinstall and reinstall BG2 - just to avoid any Microsof gremlins. ;)

Dual-classed pc, heh heh. to point then. you could always install XP first, and then if you ever happen to need Win 98, install it then.

Problem with that idea is that WinXP will format the drive as NTFS. Win 98 can't recognise this and is only able to use FAT32.

Therefore, you'd have to play with partitions and different file formats, and that'd be a pain in the ass
