Challenger explosion. The Challenger was going to put a railgun in space, great tool for launching satellites to check out the solar system, and a great weapon if anyone down here pissed off the US. It's difficult to see because much of the footage has been editted and cuts frame quickly, but I've seen an old cassette tape with the original as it was airing footage (since my kindergarten brain didn't pick up on it) you can see *something* hit it from above.

It's a somewhat common "theory" that the extra-terrestrials are here to save us from our nuclear-missle-stockpiling-selves. There have also been alot of reported UFO sightings around nuclear missle sites, historically. Grains of salt all around...

I'd find that a little hard to believe. Mainly the railgun on the challenger/railgun in space part.

If there is, I've never met him!

Guess who saw something like this coming from "outside in the Universe" and it would involve The Kremlin too! ;)

I also wonder why we haven't been back to the moon in so long... maybe we saw something there? some say ancient ruins are on the moon, and that ET's warned us not to expand our travels with weapons.

Statement made based on discussions with people who also had access to TS and above levels of information, as well as a couple of references online... it wasn't referred to as a railgun, but from the description, that's essentially what it was. Unfortunately, I can't find the links now... issa gubmint con-spear-assie... :P

I guess they could hide on teh darkside or under the surface. An old moon base might fit in some of the ancient astronaut theories I have read by Zacharia Sitchen, but I do not recall any specific mention of it.

The official post-Apollo line that re-visiting the moon was not worth the expense makes sense to me.
