Why look back? Is it to play some sort of TV show like gotcha! game? Honestly, those still suck on these forums.

I'd love to hear why we shouldn't support the current plans in both Iraq and Afganistan.

The obvious is right in front of you. Even within the article, it is clear that what *was* campaigned to achieve election, and what the policy is, is *not* the same. And that my friends is why it is here, and your replies fit the bill like a custom tailored glove!

So what? The only thing obvious here is politicians do the same things ( like promise one thing and deliver another) regardless of party affiliation.

The continuing things which are really 'wrong' are self-interested partisanship and juvenile games of ZINGER and GOTCHA! Is it a wonder the people who do such things in the media are so effectively lampooned?

Not another angry neocon I hope :). Well, this has all been dredged up before, and certain people continue to seem to want to dredge it up again. Rather than subject General Discussion to the insanity that is arguing with the "extreme right", I would direct you to look in the archives. This point you bring up has been discussed exactly, albeit with a dash of nuerosis added in, but still, it has been discussed and discussed some more. To put it in a nutshell, this subject is yet again "More of the same".

Look in the history of GE which was Current Events but recently became merged. If you are really having trouble, PM me, I could probably find the thread in question with some digging.

ROTFLMAO what now that the shoe is one the other foot, what a different tune is sung. When was hypocrisy brought up pray tell? Show me.... because that was the point I was making. Fact is if you blamed President Bush then you must blame President Obama or be hypocritical and selfserving. It doesn't matter to me what folks do. I just call'em as I see'em... :D don't blame me if the truth hurts not mine or the truth' fault.

How about they are the same plans that were railed against and protested against for nearly 5 years? Ahhhh but then, some folks change their postion depending on who is in power. I haven't changed I still support both Iraq and Afghanistan, and will do so long after President Obama has served his term. Because both needed to be done.

Good lord, it is indeed another one, lol. I was referring to the old threads where this was brought up before, and then brought up again. I told you to go looking if you wanted to know my and other people's views on it. Nothing more. Where you got all the rest of that craziness I will never know. I just do not feel that we should rehash what we already discussed because it didn't really end very nicely, and some people started complaining about dominating the forums with this. That is all. You may have returned here with guns barred but as I said before, the battle has already been fought, and won. Screaming rematch is just retarded. Also I am interested as to how you know where I stand on these things but announced you had been away a long time.
