Ha ha... I don't have any beta testers! (I don't have any definite release dates, either!)

Start of spring isn't that too far off, though...

You're telling me... :D

Stupid New Year's resolutions... :D

One of mine is to not procrastinate so much. :D:D:D Maybe I'm over compensating a bit by being so ambitious.

If the two people I have in mind for beta testing don't want to do it, I won't have any either. Or, I guess I'll be doing things the MicroSoft way - every release is a beta. :)

Well, that is a good (easy) way as well! You WILL have beta testers at any rate - it just changes whether they will know it or not (until it is too late)! :)

This year... I have no New Year resolutions :) But it is all good, I never followed through on them anyway!

I typically don't do the whole resolution thing, but this year we were at a party, where as one of the party games required us to come up with four and then we had to guess which resolutions went with which person. :)

My other three are to be more like John Stewart, get even greener (environmentally speaking) and to learn to play the guitar. :D The second one will be the hardest one. :) I already take mass transit or walk instead of driving, we recycle evertything the city allows (Portland is really good) and a few things that the city doesn't, we compost our food wastes, buy local to reduce our carbon footprint, etc, etc - but I figure you can always do more. :)

There was one family in the news who only had one bag of garbage per year... (Quite hard if you have a baby with diapers - unless you do the unimaginable and use cloth diapers (dump them whenever something gets dumped into them, wash, and then do again)!)

I tried to be a vegetarian once, but that didn't last...

I always try to promise myself to train (kung fu) harder, but I always end up blobbing around on the PC, drawing pictures or playing games... :(

The only resolution I've kept for a whole year and then some, I made at the start of '97 and that was to stop drinking coffee. I went from a couple of pots a day to nothing and then to working as a barrista a couple of weeks later. If there hadn't been some money riding on it that I couldn't last until my birthday (the end of January) I never would have made it. Once I'd gone a month I just kept at it. :)

What?! You gave up already?! :D

(I don't drink alcohol, coffee, or tea...)

Re: Art Request ~ Uatu and Dinonykos

No giving up here. :) The point of my story was that if I can make it to the end of the month, I'm pretty much good from then on out. :)

I don't drink coffee or alcohol, but I do love my tea. :D

Oh, you quit for good? Kudos for that! (You are probably the first person who ever did that/had the inclination to do that.)

I'm probably the only person in all of Japan who doesn't drink coffee - why, just yesterday I went with my coworkers to a cruddy cafe, except I had to drink $5 crappy from concentrate orange juice instead...

Next to go - tea! ;) (Tea is almost as bad as coffee! ...well, if you must drink it, you can try Korean corn tea (no caffeine!) or barley tea...)

Already, at least 50% of my tea is mubai cha. :) I love the roasted barley! :D:D:D

I have no plans to quit drinking tea. I would, however, like to to cut back or eliminate soda pop. It's not a caffeine thing either - I'm addicted to the little bubbles. :) I quit smoking just a little over nine years ago and that was nothing compared to giving up soda; same thing with coffee. I'm pretty good (for me) though, I only drink diet, keep it down to one can a day at home (with lunch I like to have a root beer) and then only other time is when I'm out to eat, or visiting a friend and they offer. :ninjas:
