I am not sure why you are asking for our opinions here - are there any reasons why you DON'T want to do this? There's no guarantee you'll even be noticed, or that you're good enough, so if that time comes, you can decide about all that later. For now, if the only decision you need to make is whether you want to join this club, that shouldn't be to hard, right? If you can afford the contribution, if you like to play football, there's no reason why you shouldn't do it. If anything more comes from it, you'll decide about that if and when it happens.
