I am offline until later this evening.

"Let yourself be killed by the one running at you, after putting up mock resistance."

Such a command tends to break the domination spell instantly, just thought you'd like to know. Oh, and the affected keeps full memories of his actions while dominated, and may want revenge.

I think tha in Domination, subjects are helpless. In Charm I'm pretty sure the spell would brake the very second the order was given, but not in Domination, IIRC.
Oh, and Larry, sent you a PM.

Domination
(Enchantment/Charm)

Range: 10 yds./level Components: V, S
Duration: Special Casting Time: 5
Area of Effect: 1 person Saving Throw: Neg.

The domination spell enables the caster to control the actions of any person until the spell is ended by the subject's Intelligence (see the charm person spell). Elves and half-elves resist this enchantment as they do all charm-type spells. When the spell is cast, the subject must roll a saving throw vs. spell at a penalty of -2, but Wisdom adjustments apply. Failure means the wizard has established a telepathic link with the subject's mind. If a common language is shared, the wizard can generally force the subject to perform as the wizard desires, within the limits of the subject's body structure and Strength. Note that the caster does not receive direct sensory input from the subject.

Subjects resist this control, and those forced to take actions against their natures receive a new saving throw with a bonus of +1 to +4, depending on the type of action required. Obviously self-destructive orders are not carried out. Once control is established, there is no limit to the range at which it can be exercised, as long as the caster and subject are on the same plane.

A protection from evil spell can prevent the caster from exercising control or using the telepathic link while the subject is so warded, but it cannot prevent the establishment of domination.

That's 2E anyway, and admittedly says nothing about instant breakage.

Larry, Dispel Magic will also counter Globe of Invulnerability, esp if we are using variable level dispel magics, per last game. (ie it is memorised at a variable level between 3 and 9)

I'm not telling him to kill himself, just telling him to let himself be killed by only putting up mock resistance.

just an fyi because I'm not sure my last post made it clear, Morguerat is following Larry up the stairs, and not staying with the group.

Kynnen: Notice that Nanashi has already mentioned that the room was too bright for her to "shadow-stalk", so there is no low-light sufficent for your approach in such a manner.

Another problem is that he is not behind Kendel, he is at the 10 O'clock position, which is in front of him, and a little to the left. Kendel has already seen him, and would be aware of Kynnen's attempt to circle around behing him.

Do you wish to leave your post as is or edit? I will accept either one, but just know that you will not succeed in the attempt the way you hope.

Legolas is right in this aspect...for when the guard hears that he will be allowing death to come upon him by being told to not resist, he'll have a mental argument with you about it. If you want to edit, I will allow it, and if you want to leave it, I will allow it, and will react accordingly.

Edited. Andrion shall try to get what he wants the next few posts.
