<font color=red>Plaxica 70/70

Plaxica slowly walked over to the group of Lyulfe, Silt and Rong:

"We have had problems with each other in the past, but you Lyulfe I still regard as my friend. I think that with Rong I shall have to have a lengthy chat at some point so as to clear things up. It might also pain you to know that Mormegil had commited suicide and I got seperated from the boat while trying to save him. I have come to adventure in these lands, when I heard rumors of you two passing. You are the only ones I know here. Would there be a chance we could team up?"</font>

<font color=green>Andrion Wilgor 60/60

Although furious at the goblin who had interrupted his conversation with the Inquisitor, Andrion had to stay in character and thus for an outsider it seemed as if he listened to the conversation between the goblin and the Inquisitor with mild interest.</font>

OOC>>>Man! This is getting intense now!

To clear a few post confusions up...Tao and Arcades have run ahead and are actually in the tavern, by what Arcades' post suggests. Therefore, here is my connection.

<font color=aqua>Larry Silverfall 13/13

Larry was outdistanced by Tao in her wolf form and the dragon in elven likeness, who ran ahead and took positions inside the tavern, for they said that they sensed a problem. Larry was fine with that, and they separated themselves from the others as to not appear to be with them, and went inside. (Andrion missed their entrance).

Liam and Vincent stayed with Larry as he slowed down and wiped the sweat from his brow. It would not do to appear unkept and nasty in front of the man that would free him from the rumors of the townsfolk. As he came near, he saw a goblin riding toward a man dressed exquisitely well, then that man drew a war-hammer and challenged the goblin on the front steps of the tavern. A merchant was also standing nearby the man. Maybe this was the Inquisitor, bearing the weapon? Why had a goblin come to these parts, to seek him out? He motioned for the other two to step up the pace and see what was going on. In Spree's absence, Larry was in charge of the tavern, and it would not do to get torn up by a bewieldered goblin today.

He got within earshot and spoke up from the distance.

"Here now...what is all this?"</font>

<font color=orchid>Rong

"No time for chatting now guys...we need to move! There's Larry coming now into view of Marcos!"

She jumped up from her spot and kept her back to the wall of the building as she edged along it's length, getting closer to the action unfolding. </font>

OOC>>>Cool! Rong and gang are now the secret ops team being put in place to keep an eye on the proceedings even as two seperate traps are being set for our unsuspecting lead character, and Marcos has control of the whole playing field and what will or will not transpire since he is the highest legal authority in the area!

What fun!

ooc>> woo!

<font color=#AAAAA>Silt 80/80

Speaking to Rong and Lyulfe:"I think we have no need of me sneaking about now, it's pointless. Let's go and see what happens, no one can really do anything now if they see us anyway!"

Silt strolled casually forward, keeping a bit of distance between himself and the inquisitor, but withing earshot. And waited.

Vincent Pathfinder 98/98

Catching up to Larry and seeing what he is talking about Vincent smiles and knocks an arrow to his bow. " <font color=silver> One wrong move by anyone up there and they will have an arrow or three in them before they know what transpires, go on ahead of me, I will watch our back's </font color=silver> ".

ooc: I hope there is undergrowth here otherwise I will edit accordingly......

IC: with saying that and not making another sound Vincent slips into the scrag bushes laying about and shortly disappears. MAnuvering himself to a proper vantage point that will allow him to cover his traveling companions should any wrong doing acure.

<font color=orange>Inquisitor Marcos of Snowdale - 98/98

Marcos crouched down in front of the goblin. By resting the warhammer on the ground, hilt leaning against his legs, the inquisitor had both hands available to snatch the pouch from the goblin.

As he undid the thong to spill the contents in his hand, he looked the goblin in the eyes.

"Package delivered," he informed it, the tone of his voice both indicating the creature had best leave in a hurry, and that any who tried to stop it from doing so would meet with trouble.</font>

<font color="#66CC99">Scraag HP: negligible

The goblin looked up, from it's prone position at the paladin, glanced around nervously, when he saw the annoyed merchant behind Marcos he did a quick double-take and sniffed once, then twice more, and a puzzled look crossed his face. Still staring at the merchant, and sniffing cautiously he was no longer paying attention to the paladin, but watching the merchant very carefully, and staying down in his grovelling posture, as he slowly began to gather his good leg under his body and shift a bit of his weight onto it.</font>

ooc: carry on

<font color="#66CC99">Scraag HP: negligible

When the paladin spoke the goblin quickly returned his gaze to the contents to the pouch, inside was a gold ring with a purple gem in the shape of an 8 point star, with the word Koveras engraved on the inner ring, it was warm to the touch. The other talisman was a small stone, round and hollowed into the shape of a ring through natural erosion in a stream, a very rare stone reputed in folktales to ward against the magics of the fey, the veracity of the tale was often questioned, as few people were willing to allow fey creatures to experiment on them to test it.

As it warmed in the paladins hand from the brief contact an image appeared before the assembled group was that of the noble paladin Morguerat, his face fair, bathed in light his steel armor fairly glowing with goodness and holiness, and shimmering underneath was the blackened armor the Reapor wears, twisted spikes going in every direction, the visor lifted to show the face of the once noble Morguerat, now twisted in hatred for all things that are not his own, the dual capes flap in unison against an unfelt wind as the mouths open together and speak."</font><font color=gray>I have a message for you, heroes of legend" the voice sneered, it's derisive tone echoed hollowly around the now deathly silent courtyard. "There is much to tell, and little that you would understand or trust from me. I have reasons to act against Larry that have nothing to do with my fall, but even he is not the reason for this message. The Shadow has the candle, as well as a pawn of some importance to me. I know the candle is the only thing you're likely to care about, so I shall focus on that, it is an artifact of great power, and evil. Letting the shadow keep it is sure to bring death to all lands, including mine and this I will not tolerate. I shall grant any aid needed to those who go after the Shadow, and stay my hand from conquering more lands for the next ten years if you will ensure mutual survival for all of us." The image shimmered and vanished leaving the noble paladin for a few seconds after the Reaper faded, and then that too was gone.</font>

<font color="#66CC99">The goblin had kept his eyes on the merchant, narrowing them and spoke quietly so that only the paladin could hear "he stinks of shadow magic like the master, only different"</font>

<font color=aqua>Larry 13/13

Larry was now closer, but kept away from the goblin at a fair distance, knowing that Vincent was hidden in the bushes with an arrow trained this way, as to protect him. Liam and Larry had now come to the gathering in front of the tavern, along with many other common folk. He turned at a noise to see Silt...the elf that had gone with the other team! he was just about to run up to greet him and ask where the others were when suddenly a magical hologram popped out of a thing the Inquisitor was holding. He listened to it and heard the dooming words that told that the Shadow version of himself had control of the candle. With his breath stolen away by this news, he looked again at Silt, then saw Rong, Lyulfe, and another that he did not know step from behind a building looking rather grim.
Then the goblin spoke up and mumbled something about the merchant that was standing there, but he did not care about any of that now.

He sat on the dirt ground and started at Silt. The candle was stolen? He has it???</font>

<font color=red>Plaxica 70/70

Plaxica did not understand anything of what was going on: a goblin, an illusion of an unknown figure and then he saw the one they had described to him as Larry Silverfall sit down on the ground apparently shattered by this news. Plaxica walked over to him.

"Mr. Silverfall? I am sorry for what has happened to you. But maybe I can clear up things a bit for you later. I have seen things others have not."</font>
