I think we should wait to see who gets theirs done. And then it might be easier. :)

It sounds like there will at least be two entries and maybe three or four...

As someone who may not get his done (not counting the tutorials), I would volunteer to play and review all of them. :)

Hey, I demand some compensation for the time pressure I've got to endure! ;)

In case I ever manage to get the design done till Judgement Day :seek: I insist on being rewarded by getting the chance to see ALL other entries.

Provided reviewing them isn't affiliated with even more stress. :fryingpan:

:D
Well, my reason to ask was that I will probably have time to play/review some designs during the X-mas week (21st-27th) evenings :) , while I won't have much spare time during the rest of the year, and during January and the first half of February 2010 :( . Maybe, we can simply upload the designs somewhere on December 20th (I will put my entry on my homepage), so that we can directly play those which are "completed"?

Do you find writing reviews (described many posts ago) stressful? :D I think they'll be enjoyable to write - lots of "that was cool", and "why don't you try this". :D:D:D

I think maybe as a reward to the people who are participating, we should not release them to the public on the 20th.
Since we'd planned tentatively on a 2 to 3 week period to do the reviews, we could have the same period for releasing to the world. Especially since some of us aren't going to get this playtested the way we would like...(if we even get done).
There are several options for uploading depending on the sizes of the entries.

I also did not mean to release them to the public on Dec. 20th, but to upload them somewhere where all contributers can find them. So, what are the options?

I saw 'website' and assumed public. How easy I forget that we all have "secret" pages. :D

Here are some options, but by no means, all options. I think size of each one and of all in total might matter, too.

1) we each upload to our own sites and share links. People without websites can maybe use XTHost (if it's up).

2) we start a short term Yahoo group - 100 MB of total storage, we will each have access to upload and download and it will only be viewable by members.

3) direct emailing (if I get done, this won't work for mine - too big)

Perhaps some combination will work as well. :ninjas:

I find neither writing reviews nor creating designs stressful - unless I am pressured to do it in a certain, rather short timeframe. :P

I think for me, any length of time given would have been too short...
