<font color=lightgreen> Roland nodded and sprinted back to the house and kept his hand near the hilt of his weapon. He slowly opened the front door and walked to Robyn's room. </font>

OOC: Larry is it Kalam you can't remember?

For Roland:

You open the door of Robyn's room and you find that the room is empty. A short scan shows you that some clothes are missing. A hurriedly written note is on the table.

"Dear Turin and Roland,

I managed to write this note while I asked the guards to leave the room while I dressed. They told me that Lord Easthome wanted to see me in the town hall. I hope everything is alright.

Robyn"

The image of a dark green forest infront of Therlion made him feel at home. He saw the animals going about their business, and the birds flying in the sky. This was untouched nature, the magical wilderness. Suddenly, the mage Enaduin appeared infront of Therlion. <font color=Chartreuse>"Only in nature. Only from the nature."</font> he said and gave Therlion a dark blue talisman, enchanted with runes. He vanished and in Therlion's head the ringing warning echoed <font color=Chartreuse>"Sacrifice this for your life. Sacrifice nature."</font> Therlion looked around to see a squirrel sitting high on a branch, eating a nut, and looking at him. Therlion was happy that he might probably never use the stone. Then, he remembered where he was. He had passed out in Haine's room, weak from the poison inside him. The events of the last few weeks rushed through him in a dizzy. Keal was about to take him and Kalam to Ardana, a healer. He now debated if it was worth destroying a part of a forest to save his life, and help Keal in saving Kalam's. No, he was confident that Keal would deliver them in time, there was no need for the talisman's power.
His hand moved and took the talisman in it's firm grip.

<font color=darkred>The balrog

The stronghold's commander brooded in silence on the highest level of his stronghold. The prisoners were still on the loose in his stronghold and no word had come back from the human ally they had, called Easthome. In the letter which had been delivered to the son he had told him to kill the group and send him the heads back. Had they betrayed him or had their plans gone sour? Either way he had to check on them. They felt foolish enough to disobey him. He summoned one of his orcish commanders to himself and told him to gather three hundred orc to him and see to it that his orders were carried out. The balrog also made special care of explaining to the commander that Easthome had to be punished for his foolishness.

He then sent for Arandor who had been stalking the stronghold the whole day and told him to seal off all of the exits of the stronghold and to kill all prisoners he could find.</font>

OOC: since Sythe and Keal don't seem to be able to get online too much I shall move the plot along a bit tomorrow afternoon, if they don't post until then.

<font color = red> "Terias decides that it would be a good idea to try out the strong metal door before leaving the corridor completely, so he walks towards the door..</font>

OOC: The Fallen One: since you seem to be the only one active in the stronghold group, I'll have you escape in one big post, so that your char can interact with the others.

For Terias and the others:

The door did not open at first. The footsteps behind the group were getting closer and closer. Oronuin tried with all of his force to open the door but it did not budge. Then suddenly Oronuin's father recovered from his unconsciousness and with a wavering hand pointed at a point in the wall. Examining it the group found that it was actually the activating mechanism of the door. They pulled it and were met on the other side of the door by several guards who were burnt to cinders by Terias's fireball. Outside the group was in fresh air, high up on the mountainside. A meandering path could be seen leading up into the mountains, but further away it split and it seemed that one of its branches led towards the ground level.

The decision was made to follow this path. Oronuin and Kirūn took turns in carrying Oronuin's father. After several hours journey they reached the forests of the elves and were kept there for the night. In the morning they parted from Oronuin who decided to stay there until his father was healed and left to see what had happened with the other part of their original group. After several days journey they spotted the town in the distance, just before nightfall.

OOC: that even solves the time differences between the two groups. The time now is the same for everyone in the game. Terias can barely make out the outlines of a figure in front of the town gates: Turin.

For Adohorn (with some info for Therlion and Keal:

Adohorn had been wondering the wilds for several years now since his last encounter with anyone. His companions had been the animals and the trees. With his trusted bow he could find food for himself and when he encountered wild animals his twin blades came in handy. He usually avoided inhabitated areas, prefering solitude. However lately the hunt had not been good and his clothes were starting to get too much used away, so he decided to make a visit in one of the human's towns where he was less likely to be recognized.

However on the way there he encountered a most peculiar sight. Humans were fighting amongst each other and it seemed an elf was on one of the sides. He then watched two elves taking a human with them up towards the mountain. His curiosity arised he followed them from a distance then saw them enter a hut he knew belonged to a dwarf. Having no idea of what was going on he made the decision to check out what was going on. Unfortunately he could not see through the curtains, he could only hear voices drift out from the inside. He learnt several things this way. He knew the poison described and knew of its effects and his heart was drawn towards helping the poisoned elf and human. Therefore he went to the front door and knocked.

<font color=pink>"Who is it?"</font> - the dwarf said after opening the door.

<font color=#3300FF> Adohorn

"Hello there...sorry to intrude. I just caught a glimpse of civilization in you and your party, something I have not seen for some time; I hope my intrigue will not bother you...now what was it again...sorry I'm a bit rusty on names...Durling; yes that's the one. How do you do Durling? I am Adohorn the Duskwalker, a wanderer of this vast land and elf of great passion, I seem to recall I met you several hundred years ago, you looked so much younger and less troubled back then, although I suppose age does take it's toll on all of us. I for one have lived through enough to have first hand experience on this, but ah this is life and all. But anyway I am diverging again sorry. I couldn't help overhearing that a fellow elf and human lay unconcious through the effects of poison. I would like to offer my assistance to them. I may aswell do something useful with this life of mine, I have been feeling like a bit of a failure for these last couple of centuries. So, what do you think Durling? Can I be of use."

For Adohorn, Keal and Therlion:

A look of surprise and then recognition could be seen on the dwarf's face suddenly.

<font color=pink>"Durling? ... Yes. That was my name in an age long past now. These lands were more peaceful in those times and evil was less in the world. I am sorry however as I do not recognize you, there are some events in my past I have tried to forget and meeting you must have also been forgotten. I am getting really old."

"So you say you want to help the poisoned ones. My knowledge is insufficient to heal them and the human suggested taking them to Ardana. Come on in then and have a look at them!"</font>
