But most do feel better when I let them think they know something I don't know. Even my husband complained that I intimidate him on an intellectual level. So, I hush up and he feels better. Good deal made there, I can tell ya! (Yes, in case you noticed the reference in my previous post - this is my 2nd marriage http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif.)

Did you ever get bullied at school because you knew more than the other kids? Sheesh! I did. I read all the text books so far in advance, besides devouring encyclopedias, that I used to show 'em up in class. SUCH a pity I didn't learn discretion until I was adult! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif I might have had friends! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

LOL! Oh, most definitely did I get bullied because of that! Mostly before high school. Then, when the classes got a little harder, everyone wanted to be my friend so I could help them study and understand!!

But earlier in school (1st - 6th grade), I was usually about 6 weeks ahead of everybody else.

http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif We MUST be related somehow. Let's see, I could read at four, so by the time I got to 1st grade at 6&1/2 I was very good at it. Didn't need my finger to keep my place and was very fast. The teacher would often have me read three or four times as much as the rest of the kids because I didn't stumble over words. Boy, they hated me for that. But I was so proud of myself for learning so quickly I didn't think of what that would mean to them. Kids often mistook my satisfaction with myself for learning as me thinking they were stupid. Well, I don't think ANYONE is stupid. Anyone can learn anything they want to. I just happen to like ALOT of things, so I've learned much about many things.

As to "eating up" encyclopedias - boy, did I. My parents learned early on that they couldn't punish me, inasmuch, by sending me to my room because I had all kinds of books and a full set of encyclopedias in my room. They'd send me to my room for something and, when my Mom would come in to check on me two hours later, I'd have several encyclopedias open. She'd ask me "what are you doing?" and I'd tell her, "well...first I looked up the space shuttle and it said 'see rocket boosters for more info.', so I did that...", and so on! I still read AVIDLY. Can't get enough. I like anything that gives me a mental challenge! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

Oh, boy! You could be my twin! I wonder how we would have got on if we had been at school together? I HATED it when someone knew something I didn't, and I reckon you might've! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/noncgi/smiles/485.gif
I was never able to go to university when I was young, so went when I was in my mid-fifties and graduated at age 60. I love learning new things, too!

Well, I'm sure we would've gotten along just fine. I didn't get to go to college right out of regular school, either. I'm just about to finish up a course in Gourmet Cooking and Catering. I'm taking it via a correspondence course because my work schedule doesn't leave room for attending classes. Right now, I have a 95 average and have only four more lessons to go. In a few years, I hope to open a restaurant/catering establishment. *crosses fingers* http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif After I finish this course and get it paid off, I'm going to take Small Business Management, then Restaurant Management, etc., etc. I intend to take lessons and continue learning to my dying breath! http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

It's simple. Once the Planet is hurt, it gathers Spirit Energy to heal the injury. The amount of energy gathered depends on the size of the injury...What would happen if there was an injury that threatened the very life of the Planet? Think how much energy would be gathered! Ha, ha, ha. And at the center of that injury, wil be me. All that boundless energy will be mine. By merging with the energy of the Planet, I will be come a new life form, a new existence. Melding with the Planet, I will cease to exist as I am now. Only to be reborn as a 'God' to rule over every living soul.
