His mind racing, Khalraan quickly pulled the book out of his cloak, and placed his hand in the air, the sphere appearing.

Dar' Lei's most powerful spell, to summon.
The swirling mists inside the orb grew darker, and the sphere expanded, becoming about 10 feet in diameter.
The sphere phased, and Verloren was, taken from the tower by Dar' Lei's spell.
The sphere reappeared, hovering by Khal's shoulder, it's normal size once more.
'It didn't bring anyone else' Khal looked sad, 'Darun and DK are still in there, but at least we have you princess, do you think you can get Darun and DK here?'</font>

ooc:LB, make Verloren say she can't, or Cal's char will have wasted his dimension door, when you could've done it [img]tongue.gif[/img]

ooc-i was under the impression that simple dimension door spells couldn't let us out, otherwise she would have cast it already *frowns*

"Bloody arrogant son of a bitch," she muttered to herself, "Don't worry about him, if he touches you in harm, I'll harm in back, bloddy elf," she sniffed and peered out where the tower reared in the horizon, "I'm afraid my magic cannot touch the tower, Khal," she studied the book in his arms, "I should like to study that when we are done here..can't it release our friends as it released me?" she asked him.</font>

IC: For no apparent reason, the area of wall which had been impacted by D.K's fist caved in a bit and some bricks gave way...

"Man Since I reverted classes my delayed reaction feat just isn't acting like it used to" D.K. Said in a pouty tone while rubbing his sore hand...

Darun steped over the bricks and gazed into the hole gasping at what he saw...

<font color=silver> Alielis rose to his feet, gasping. He drank a potion of sorts, and his eyes turned blood red, then went back to normal. He fell face down in the dirt, the soil under him slapping him back as he fell. Weakly he glanced at Verloren. <font color=skblue>"Lady... please...there is no need for that... forming that portal... took more then I had out of me... I am... dying. I fear I wasn't strong enough to hold it open... for all of you... I held it as long as I could... why you did not come though... I do not know..."</font> he stopped, his breath coming in shallow gasps. The elf closed his eyes and whispered, <font color=skblue>"It will all be over soon - the potion... did not do.. what my knowledge said it would... twas meant to restore me... it... failed... perhaps... perhaps it is best."</font> he sighed. <font color=skblue>"My memories... they are not returning... perhaps that also is for the best... I... do not wish to know what I was any longer... I fear the worst."</font> the young elf opened his eyes again, his voice growing weaker. <font color=skblue>"Soon... very soon..."</font> he looked wryly at Verloren. <font color=skblue>"You may be right, I may be a bitch's son... a favour, please? A last request? The pool over there... place my sword in my hands... both of them pleaes... and... let my body lie on the water..."</font> the young elf paused.. waiting for her to speak.</font>

<font color=cyan>"I see you don't know your local terrain very well, elf. That pool happens to be a healing spring," grunting she dragged him over and plooped him in, then handed his katana to him as an afterthought.</font>

<font color=silver> The elf spluttered, <font color=skblue>"This is not my terrain... and... a healing pool will not restore my life energies... it shall only heal... psychical wounds."</font> he began to feel better though. <font color=skblue>"Damnit, it seems your right... I am.. no longer on the brink of death."</font> several moments passed. The elf stood up, his eyes a mystery. <font color=skblue>"I... am healed..."</font> the elf sheathed his dai-katana; and bowed to Verloren. <font color=skblue>"You do not like me - it is obvious; if you so desire it, I shall depart, and leave... I... do not know myself; or even why I am here... I would suggest starting over, but..."</font> he paused. <font color=skblue>"I would ask your forgiveness for offending you... perhaps we started off on the wrong foot. I do not know why I was in the tower, nor... why I cannot remember anything from before the past two days... only vauge pieces of information... I..."</font> he smiled <font color=skblue>"I talk too much."</font>

D.K. Slapped himself on the forehead... "Hoo boy we're in for it now..."

SecretMaster-Long has he traveled until he reached his destination. Scanning the tracks of a large group, he finds that they lead to a large, dark ominous tower. "I know they went in, but did they come back out. And where are those voices coming from?" He said to himself. "If they are in the tower, I better check out who those campers are, they could be enemies." Quickly jumping onto a tree branch, he hops back and forth to the trees until the voices are just to his left. He jumps down stealthily, and hides behind a rock. He unsheaths his sword, and jumps into action. He lands right behind Lady Verloren, with his sword to the back of her. "You have a knack for almost getting killed by me Lady Verloren." He withdraws his sword, and scans the group. "I have been gone for a week now, and to my dismay, you have not progressed far. I would like to know 2 things. Where is the one you call Deathkiller. Secondly, what has taken so long? Was it the tower? I noticed strong arcana emitting from it. Perhaps the tower is in another dimension than ours. Maybe time there goes really slow by our standards, and what may seem like an hour or so to you, is really days to us?"

ooc-I believe my char, Khal's, and Cal's are outside, and D.K. and Chai are inside. I assume D.K.s post is in reference to the thing they just encountered
