As I have said before in my previous posts they would do anything possible to protect themselves. I don't blame them for their fear. All their lives they live in constant fear and danger of being attacked. My 689 year old elven friend said that back then kobolds were more gentle than they are right now. This fear has driven the kobolds mad and made them a warlike race. We are the cause of that. We move into their territory and claim their land as our own. They know that we cannot be trusted and attack us. Fear is their motivation of showing hostilities toward us.

I know that even if we are not in their territory they still attempt to kill us. They want the threat stampted out. For example before Ko's encampment was wiped out they sometimes had raiding parties to take out the nearby towns. No matter how I try to discourage this they won't listen to me. They said either they are going to attack us or us attack them. The small human towns have the exact same attitude.

I know that many of you say this. It seems that those who oppose my views is that words I just quoted is their only strong evidence."Kobolds attack us first and we just defend ourselves!" This would not happen I promise you all when we start to treat kobolds respect and treat them as equals. Nothing starts out evil except for beings that enjoy inflicting misery since they first inflicted pain on someone else. Humans are not like that no human is born like that. Drow are not either because they are influenced by the Spider Queen Lolth(If you doubt me then what do you have to say about Drizzt Do'Urden) It is the same with almost every race. Kobolds are in that category.

I and friends usually defeated such animals but there was one species that were intellegent like us. Elder says they are called Humans. There were many types of humans elder said for example elves.

KO: True. Father told me that most kobold tribes do not have elders. But those who are, are sorcerors who wield magic! They accompay my races's raids. But they are usually killed since Humans usually kill the one who has magic first.

ME:I see have you and the tribes thought of having a crusade against humans?

KO: Yes we had the desire to. A desire to kill all humans but since I met you my previous views of humans have changed. But before before of the massacre at my home we were preparing but didn't. Because one of us who came back from a journey around the world said numerous races such as goblins and Orcs have done the same but failed. Or was so close to victory but only to be defeated by mercenaries.

ME: A kobold adventurer?

KO: Yes he has great wisdom a great figthter. He defended valiantly against the humans when they attacked. He almost overpowered them what stopped him was an human with a axe and lopped off his head. The fiend seemed to come out of thin air must have been magic.

ME: What was your home life like before the incident.

KO: We were a small tribe of hunters. The males hunted for food from animals such as rabbits. Only the best archers hunt the strongest animals such as bears. The males skinned the animals and used the skins as clothing while the females cooked the food. Females also accomapny males on hunting parties. The physically strongest kobolds cut down trees.

ME: No offense but I don't believe kobolds are strong enough to cut them down.

KO: Of course there was about 15 kobolds per tree.

ME: I see and you used the wood to make arrows?

KO: Yes us children carve the trees and make arrows out of them. Our favorites are making fire arrows. We have a secret method of making these which I cannot share with you.

ME:Besides making weapons what do you people do? Don't you have recreation time?

KO:Free time and play time yes we use that time to practice using our weapos espcially with the bow. When a kobold has mastered the art of archery we form a small party. And hunt.

ME: No you hav misunderstood me I mean like festivals.

KO: We do sometimes. Only when a party managed to kill a human or captured one as our prisoner. But besides that we do things I just described and prepare to defend ourselves. In order to ensure protection we fiercely guard our tribal lands. My people believed any human who came through were hostile and would bring trouble. Even when we didn't attack that human still brought trouble.

And for the question of Sythes sanity, I saw he still makes a good point whether or not its a falsified document...
