You're close, Pirengle... But although I argue it and argue it, the NPC talking is good on paper, not just through behavior.

And that was me thinking you would know Jaheira is neutral  You continue to amaze me, Pirengle ;)

Mazzy and Viconia? She is just the queen bitch of the Prime Material.

Illumina Drathiran'ar 06-02-2004 06:05 PM

YES! Dalamar Stormcrow got it right.
As a few of you might know, I often get in a huff over Viconia's alignment. I don't personally see her as evil, and being the Eilistraee fan that I am, I often put her in my good-aligned parties to redeem her.
"..You taint the sun with your evil."
"You do not frighten me, tiny pretend-paladin. I've had taller footstools, and can handle whatever force your diminuitive form can muster."
"Cruel words mean little when your head is on a pike..."

Jahiera, along with Viconia and Dawnmaster Kreel, belongs to the Inappropriate Alignment And/Or Deity Club. For all the things I dislike about 3rd Edition DnD, I'm glad that they made all types of neutral alignments open to druids.

Neutral, my bum. She's neutral good if she's anything. She has no problem threatening Edwin with a quarterstaff through the eye. ;)

I think Dawnmaster Kreel got fixed with Kish's Oversight. But I agree with the state of druids in 3rd ed.

I got Viconia right...that should count for something...

I still found Kreel's alignment most amusing... And Weathermistress Ada's alignment is troublesome as well.
And yes, you get 15 points for guessing Viconia correctly.
Save up 1,000 Illumina Points to trade in for a 5 Bonus Post card. Save up one hundred of those and you get a Get Out Of Quintesson Avatar Free card.
Let me know when you have enough.
::wonders if someone, somewhere will try::

Really? I would think that instead opening up NE and NG would make more sense, certainly more than LN. "Oh yes, I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Druid, but I still care deeply about following orders and obeying the law." If those Shadow Druids aren't Neutral Evil, I'll eat my foot. With green beans on the side.

Illumina Drathiran'ar 06-03-2004 12:51 PM

I'm more heavily in favor of NG and NE druids, Six, than I am of LN and CN druids. I suppose that the LN and CN druids would compose very small parts of the druidic order as a whole, each CN druid balancing out a LN druid, and vice-versa. I would imagine that a LN druid would be devoted to studying and furthering the order found in nature... Ant colonies and beehives come to mind, as does preserving druidic traditions and rituals.. While the CN druid would revel in thunderstorms and natural disasters like that.
