Larry, I would have posted earlier, I was waiting to see what Marcos would say. Now you shall see what the loyal Silt will do.

FYI on the castle. The Right Wing is where the kitchen is as well as rooms of where some of the guards reside...and of course the holding cells. But the Left Wing is where all the royal bedrooms are along with the elite force of men that protect them. As Marcos has taken up temporary residence here, he has already mentioned that the Lord of the House is currently away.

I will let Legolas detail the left Wing's residence if he chooses to do so. I just wanted you to realize the difference in the two wings, and what you might expect to find or not find.

Oh...and the great middle room is used for a ball room and other party things, which conveniently opens to the gardens outside. It is rather expensive-looking.

This works very well, and I'll tell you why. We can safely assume that you have not yet been judged by Marcos, or you would not have been in the holding cell, nor alive for that matter methinks. You are right, he'd take the point of magical influence, but would be courteous enough to leave you a symbol of you God/Godess because I do not think that Marcos would deny you your right to worship who you would. So this makes great sense. Good work.

*grins unbelieveably wide* Thanks! I had the very same idea about the denial of sacred figure. Now if only I had a scanner... I made this cool little sketch of the castle in the desert, how I envisioned it after a describatory post by the member who's name escapes me at the moment. I'll try to scan it, and post it.

Bozos, the castle is in a swamp, not a desert, although the land around the Shadow Mages tower is likely barren enough at this point to be desert.
