A dying ghouls remorse
As the scene evolved around him Sean began to realise how deluded he had been, drunk on the blood of the monster he had overlooked what had been done to him, hoping only for the power that such blood gave, unfortunately the taste of immortal blood was addictive, and caused a bond much stronger than love between the donor and the drinker, he had almost broken free of the bond when he had been first improved, and renamed by his master. He had been Sean, a troubled young man very close to taking his own life when he was offered a better deal by Vlad, the Master, "Serve me well and I shall reward with you more than you could ever hope to achieve on your own in this life, and you will live forever as you are now" The promises had seemed too good to be true, and in the end, they had been, the first time he had made a minor mistake his body had been mutilated, most of his original limbs harvested for use in the Master's experiments, he had nearly been freed at that point, but slowly his lost appendages had been replaced, and his life had become a pitiful existance of fear, pain and slow reward, he had been a useful servant long enough to have nearly all of his body replaced in one form or another. With the end of his life flashing before his eyes and the thoughts of his many crimes over his two hundred year life, anger welled up inside him, and he lashed out, hoping to, if not rediscover salvation, at least help take out Vlad. He had crashed into a table covered with bubbling beakers, ignored in the face of the newcomers as insignificant, but his failing sight glimpsed a beaker with green smoke coming out, and hurled it at his "kind" Master. and then with a last gasp of air consciousness and life left the hunchbacked caretaker of the laboratory. ooc the first blow has been struck, the acid thrown by the ghoul struck your Host and quickly ate through his clothing and the smell of burning flesh assaults your noses, the Tzimisce swears in pain and looks at his arm giving the initiative to everyone else, Larry (and anyone else with celerity active) you get to go first. p.s. Hope I wasn't too melodramatic, I just like to remember that even villains have reasons for being villainous, and some are more human inside than you would give them credit for at face value [ 01-09-2004, 03:32 PM: Message edited by: Morgeruat ] |
OOC>>>I hope you approve of this move. It is to give others a chance as well...so that I do not hog all the glory... ;)
Storm Storm saw the Host coming at him, arms wide as if in invitation to fight. A that moment, the servant threw a vial of an unkown chemical towards his master, and that had an effect worthy enough to draw the attention of the Host away from Storm. Storm leaped in, grabbing the Host by the neck with his hands, pulled him down to his right, and leaped around him, taking him from the back which opened the Host's chest up for Thalali to fire. "NOW THALALI!" Storm shouted, and he leaned over and sunk his own teeth into the Host's neck, ripping away the flesh (but not drinking)...just letting the blood flow free. OOC>>>My intentions were to get Thalali to shoot, opening bleeding wounds as well as my attack on his jugular, trying to spill the Host's blood to weaken him. |
Thalali
As soon as Storm shouted the words, Thalali started unloading both guns into Vlad's chest. After both his clips had run out, he too jumped at the master, hoping he and Storm could bring him down together. [ 01-09-2004, 09:22 PM: Message edited by: T/-/alali ] |
OOC>>>DM...I am ecpecting that most of those bullets went through the body of the Host and got me as well in the chest as I am holding the guy from the back. Therefore...this post...
Storm Thalali fired his rounds into the Host and Storm felt nearly every one of them. Almost all the bullets that assaulted the Host found its way into the body of himself. He cried in agony and lost his hold on the vampire he was attacking. That was okay, as Thalali had just thrown down his guns and was now pouncing from the front now. Storm, grabbed at his chest and doubled over in swooning pain. His own life-blood was being spilled on the floor. The room was blurry and sounds were distorted. He could still hear Thalali brutally fighting, and Storm hoped that the gash in the neck of the Host helped quicken the vampire's death that his friend would be able to finish the kill. He looked around and finally realized that Bakilas was in the room, pointing his guns, but not doing anything. "Help...me..."...he could barely whisper. |
Bakilas looks down at Storm and for a moment it looks like he is going to ignore him, but with a curse he runs over to him and drags his wounded body away from the battle between Thalali and Vlad.
"Rest here and don't try anymore heroics, your body is wounded badly but with time and blood it shall heal." Pausing briefly to fire a few rounds at Vlad, Bakilas considers the situation. "You would heal alot quicker if you had some of my blood, are you willing to drink the blood of another vampire?" |
Storm
"...I...cannot." |
"Fine, it is your own undeath that you are risking and it is of no concern to me."
Bakilas stands and points his pistols at Vlad but then stops and decides to see how Thalali holds out without his assistance. |
Mistral
Watching the gory battle taking in front of her, she felt her knees weakening and heart thumping as she eyed the relative newcomer, the only one who seemed unscathed so far ~ But of course, I have also been mostly unharmed... as of now, at least... The living hell surrounding her seemed to be worsening by the second. Truly, death seemed to be the best outcome for her... |
ooc sorry it took so long to get around to relying to this, I can tell most of you are chomping at the bit for blood, so I'll oblige you ;)
The wounds were terrible, and the pain was great, but he had given them the privelage of the first attack, and of course he was not without means to repair himself. many of the bullet wounds began to quickly close, his non-living tissue bled much less than a human, making the wounds less severe than normal, a human would have been killed by being riddled with lead, for Vlad, it was an inconvenience, as Storm would discover if he tried to heal himself. The wound in his neck however was a different matter, though the blood no longer flowed; the ragged tear was still painful and gruesome to behold. Thalali charged at him, taking his notice away from the vampire that had dropped off of his back, as the newcomer swung his fist at the Master he grabbed Thalali by the wrist and elbow and bent them backwards (ooc Thalali you feel his fingers slide inside of the skin at your elbow and wark the bones at the joint until he is able to flip it backwards, it reminds you of having a bone broken, and then welded into a new position) your fingers can still move but you arm is locked. He then take a swing at you faster than you can see, and you feel several of your ribs crack under the force of his blow, knocking you back several feet. He then takes a moment to inspect the injury to his arm from the acid, the substance continues to eat at his flesh, increasing the horrid stench of the basement. OOC he still has several bullet wounds and as I said his neck and arm haven't begun to heal. the next move is in your hands players OOC Thalali, you've taken 4 hp's of bashing damage, you will be in pain and moving slowly until you spend blood to heal (1 blood point per hp healed, and you can heal one per round) what he did to your arm didn't do any damage beyond making it unusable until you can get a chance to have it healed. mroe OOC:Storm you've taken 3 levels of bashing damage from the bullets, whether this is because the host absorbed them, or another reason, you are hurt, you aren't bleeding freely as you are no longer alive, and your heart only serves to send the power of your super charged blood when you ask it to, however it still hurts alot to have bullets resting and cooling inside you. IC Gwynne, you hear the sounds of combat down below, as well as the skittering of creatures you'd rather not think about, when you see the thing that led you into the house emerge from it's hole in the ceiling, followed by at least a dozen others that look very similar in design, they are headed for the door down to the basement and don't appear to be aware of you. [ 01-12-2004, 12:04 PM: Message edited by: Morgeruat ] |
OOC>>>Thanks....forgot about that...
Storm The fledgling vampire lay on the ground, thinking that life was to end...but he was still thinking as a human. It took him several moments to realize that the lessening of he pain and the reduction of blood lost was not a sign of the end...it was a sign of healing. He had never been inflicted with such damage before this nght, and so had not experienced one of the blessings of undeath in the cage of a vampiric shell. His body was on the mend. He remembered how he had been told about this briefly one day in the casino. Now the instructions made sense. He stood and rubbed his chest where the pain was still sore, and looked with astonishment at his wounds. He looked back to Thalali, who seemed to be in need of help. He also spotted the human girl, laying on the floor in terrible agony of mind. He felt sorry for her, for this must be truelly awful to see. Pushing that thought to the back of his mind, he pulled his guns and began to fire at the Host, as Thalali had now left an opening with his own absence upon the enemy. "Surrender the girl now!"...he said over the gunshot blasts. Where the heck was everybody else? |
