Ah, the Tymora's Loop. Luck effects with values more than +1 sure are powerful!
I think one of the places you can get the ring is at the end of the game, the same man you get the Cold Reflection or something like that. But I dunno. I've beaten the game 18 times,a nd only held the item 4-5 times. Too bad I didn't take any notes. Best part is, my current HoF wizard has it, and I just dunno where I got it from.
And to describe their kickassness... it's a +3 luck bonus! Get two of those and the Lucky Knucky and you may go around casting maximised Horrid Wiltings and Delayed Blast Fireballs, dishing out the most unbelieveable heaps of damage you can imagine(280+ on a Delayed blast Fireball, Spirit of Flame near level 30). Ain't alot of things better than that. Tis a good thing luck bonuses stack.
