Johnny making shampoos? Does it taste and smell like beer? :D

Cloudbringer 08-20-2006 11:05 AM

Johnny... love the flowers and weeds and things in the shampoo!

Aww, Ivellis, sorry 'bout the rain...but hey, think of it as a nice new and clean start for the happy couple! :D

Captain Obvious 08-20-2006 04:04 PM

Ivellis, there is nothing quite like walking down the street, drunk, wearing a suit in the pouring rain. Its character building, and an experience everyone should have at least once.

hope the wedding was good!

Ivelliis 08-20-2006 05:22 PM

Aye was alright. Yup I did have to walk down the street, in the rain, in my suit. Looked like a right prat I bet *grin*

It was weird...we had three speeches read out...

Speech one, my grandad (and the father of the bride) called John.
Speech two, the groom, called John.
Speech three, the best man, John's son, John.

When someone said "the first speech will be John's" I've never seen so much confusion!

Captain Obvious 08-20-2006 08:35 PM

Lol, yeah, everyone would be jumping up ready to go.

I love wedding speeches, they are by far the best part!

although, a pommy mate of mine got married earlier this year, and all the guests from the UK said wedding speeches there are not a big deal? Here, the best man gets up and takes the piss, as do nearly everyone else! its hilarious!

I'm think our grandparents used beer shampoo many decades ago.

Google check ...

Beer Shampoo

The proteins from the malt and hops in the beer coat the hair and build it up and help repair damage. It leaves the hair with wonderful body.

3/4 cup beer (any cheap brand)
1 cup inexpensive shampoo

Boil the beer until it reduces to 1/4 cup. Cool the beer and add it to the 1 cup of inexpensive shampoo.

Now that's a shampoo for Johnny :D

Well yeah, my grandads speech started off "And I'd like to take this moment to pass you over to John..." while the Best Man (and son of the groom) kept giving messages about "that job he was planning" from numbers 224 to 227".

I've been looking for years my friend, sadly, the attempts have been in vain.

Cloudbringer 08-22-2006 01:15 PM

Try not looking... I think it works better that way for some of us.

Somehow, I don't see myself buying beer to make shampoo, but I've heard of it before. Supposed to be good for your scalp and hair.
