Artelm 18/18
Artelm smiled when he got a kind reply from Jena, it was reasuring. The halfling mused, browsing through his thoughts and trying to find anything significant."Hmmm...I remember waking up in my bed, and the shock that I couldn't remember where I had put my...um...my supplies. Yes, well I couldn't find them anywhere and this had me quite worried, since I needed them to live. After a relentless day searching I went along to the tavern to drown my sorrows." Artelm paused at this point, realising that he still didn't have anymore insight into where his "savings" had gone. That was hard earned gold! Sudden new fears struck Artelm, what if someone else had stumbled across his "supplies"? What if someone else was busy treating themselves to a life of luxury? He couldn't remember exactly what he had possessed, only that it had been substantial enough to allow him numerous weeks from doing anything. Realising he hadn't finished his sentence he looked up again,"Yes so ehm, that was where I came across the group, and very intruiging they were too, they all seemed in the same boat, so I chose to follow then for a while, then revealed myself as a curious halfling in the same boat as them." That, Artelm supposed, had to be the longest speech he had made since joining the group, he hadn't really given much away he supposed. Although he also supposed there wasn't much to give away about himself, seen as he didn't know all that much either. [ 12-09-2004, 05:53 PM: Message edited by: RoSs_bg2_rox ] |
Able Typhonious 21/21
Able began to rub his chin and contemplate this statement... it seemed... suspicious... "By the way..." Able spoke up "I have an idea of how I could provide at least one horse to aid us in our travels today... If anyone's interested..." OOC: Artwork. Fairioni looks at them as she rubs her heade "Oi. You guys are going to have horses climb a steep slope with a high possiblity of being attacked, and animals and monseters running around that will kill them? .."
|
"Yes, Drusalia, there is some left. Aeriah was careful to make sure there was enough for everyone."
Spooning the porridge into two seperate bowls, one for Faironi and one for Drusalia, Jena smiled brightly. "I see you've been successful in your hunt this morning. That's one good-looking deer you've got there!" Turning her attention toward Artelm now, Jena continued. "Well...I hope you find your supplies. I'm sure it will work out for you." Glancing over Artelm, Jena realized that perhaps he was a thief...or something similiar. He missed his supplies? Did he mean his robbings? His earnings? His gold? Perhaps it was just her, but Jena didn't understand the need for excessive wealth. Did these things make some people truly happy? Shrugging, Jena knew deep down inside her that she would have been content living anywhere...poor or rich...and it would make it all the more wonderful if Aeriah could remain with her forever. "How about everyone else? What's the first thing you remembered?" After hearing Able speak about the transportation issue, Jena raised an eyebrow. "How is that, Able? And what about the rest of us? I must agree with Faironi, though. It would be very difficult and cumbersome if we are attacked on horseback." [ 12-10-2004, 09:09 AM: Message edited by: GameGurl25 ] |
Drusalia 22/22
"My first memory was of sitting in an inn and knowing I was there for a reason, yet I could not remember the reason. I stayed for three weeks in the inn and then I met Aeriah, Kyr and Verrion. That is how I got into this adventure." |
Fairioni shrugs "I'm in it because I met them.. I'm here to meet someone.. Who, I do not know.."

The sun had now reached above the horizon enough to get the idea clearly across, time to go. As such, Aeriah and Fairioni lead the party up, the path a bit rocky. It becomes clear that this path winds around the mountain, espically after the left becomes a sheer cliff. However, a growl startles them and soon a tiger prowls out from a small crag. It's apparently hungry. Fairioni narrows her eyes "I think it might be interested in someone here, too, though." she says, watching it's behavior [ 12-11-2004, 05:14 PM: Message edited by: Saliarasri ] |
Jena 36/36
Impulsively, Jena was quick to draw her bow. Placing an arrow inside, she aimed directly at the tiger. "Speak, growl, or grunt quickly, beast! You have not much time!" Holding her stance, Jena stood with one foot forward and one back, her hands clasped tightly to her bow and ready to release at any minute. She was clearly positioned in defense to the tiger's presence. Silently yet cautiously, she waited for it's reply. [ 12-12-2004, 08:02 AM: Message edited by: GameGurl25 ] |
Drusalia 22/22
"Jena, do not fire! I am sure the animal is only hungry. Verrion could you cut it a leg of the dear we caught this morning?" Drusalia then turned towards the tiger and tried seeming friendly. OOC: animal empathy. |
OOC: I take it my 1hp wound has healed by now, right?
Verrion Sieg 24/24 Verrion reached into his bag and took out a piece of deer meat. He looked into Drusalia's eyes to make sure this was a good idea, and then took a step toward the iger, the meat infront of him. His other hand was resting on the hilt of his rapier, just in case. |
