For Salphur:

As you get nearer and nearer to your goal you suddenly notice smoke rising straight ahead of you in the distance. And you have a feeling that you see also some small flames.

For Turin, Keal, Adohorn and Therlion:

You set out up the slopes of the mountain, which lead towards where the dwarf had said Ardana was to be found. As they went up the mountain the slope got steeper and the snow deeper, but luckily no incident happened on the slopes. As they reached a small shelf they noticed that it was going to be impossible to continue on straight up the mountain as the slope became too steep. Then as they debated what to do they noticed a trail of small feet in the snow.

Following the trail they reached a cave entrance where across the entrance a door had been built. Some light came through the cracks under the door and the trail clearly stopped at the door.

"We need one of us to circle around the back side of this cave and see if there is another exit.

One of you other two hide over there in those bushes with an arrow notched at the ready in case there be trouble. I will knock on the door and see who answers. I'll jump to the right if there is danger to give a clear shot. Whoever is with me jumps to the left.

There is no reason to take unnecessary chances out here, so everybody treat this as a potential enemy until we can ascertain who this is and their allegiance.

Let's go."

Turin walked up to the door, not even knowing who would be doing what. He had become used to trusting those that were with him.</font>

For Turin:

The guard still with them volunteers to go to the back of the cave, yet he comes back in less than a minute saying that about fifty meters away there is a sheer drop and that there is no way to go around the cave. As soon as he finishes telling Turin about this he returns to Kalam, whom he had carried all the way up the mountain.

Then preparing to open the door Turin hears a voice from beyond the door. The words can not be made out, but the tone indicates that the speaker is female.

Salphur

Salphur saw the smoke and knew exactly where they were comming from...The town was on fire!!!
Salphur knew immedietly there must have been something important in that town, and they must reach the town before it was demolished.
"Hurry" he yelled to his men, "we must reach the town before the occupants escape!"
Suddenly he roared along with his army as they immediatly started running towards the smoke.

For Salphur:

As you near the town you spot a small group of orcs with some loot looking to be human stuff talking among themselves in the shadows of a tree. You go over to them and ask them what has happened.

"Our leader, great Glurg the Strong lead us victory against pathetic humans. The town is empty and we burn to ground. If you want speak Glurg he be on other side of town looking escape route used survivors."

Salphur

Salphur decided to speak with Glurg, maybe it would shed some light on the destruction of the town.
He ordered all the troops to stop and get some rest untill he returned.
He then proceded to step over smouldering peices of the town as he headed towards where Glurg suposedly was.

Turin, a bit nervous...knocks on the door and waits to see who comes out. He hoped that he'd found the one they were searching for, and that she was apt to entertain unexpected guests.

Were they unexpected?</font>

For Turin:

As he knocks on the door the voice inside suddenly stops and rapid movement can be heard. Then the door opens and an old woman appears. Her hair is grey, eyes are glazed and her movement is slow and unsteady. But the knife in her hand moves rapidly and surely to Turin's throat.

"Get away you bear, or I..." - she then paused and her eyes opened wide.

"A human? What are you doing here?" - her voice was softer, but the knife still pressed against Turin's throat.
