He was being particularly annoying, not allowing me to type. I've been in the real world far, far too long, as of today.

Good afternoon, all.

Cats do have a way of getting what they want, when they want it, don't they?

Oh yah!

I had one once who would deliberately knock books off my bookshelves until I'd pay attention to him or feed him. He'd actually look back to see if I was watching, then stand up and pull the books down!

Hehe! My grandmas cats walk in front of you, so you almost trip over them. And then if you just get mad at them and you don't give them what they want, they just mope about and sit with their back facing you. Funny little animals. ;)

Evening all!

Went out with the family for a meal tonight, was nice. Had chicken in BBQ sauce and baby back ribs. It was a New York/Italian restaurant.

Internet has been down since before I went out, got in and was forced to watch Big Brother as nothing is on TV *sigh* Back now though, seems everyone's was down, not just people on my supplier. Perhaps it was something with the area, not a specific supplier.

Ribs! Now there's something I haven't had in a long time. I could do for some of those tonight now.

The front sounds like some debris got in there, and is blocking the track, or maybe the track got bent, and the glass can't go any further. Sure wish I lived closer, could save you a ton of money on minor repairs.
LOL it would be like trying to pry out a key from a keyboard, but tougher I'd imagine. Only a small crack around the buttons, so don't know what I could use to get under the button to pop it out. A large paper clip is too big (tried it once LOL). And just straight out trying to grip it is out LOL, too small and smooth. And best I not go experimenting with that anyways, I tend to break things and I'd hate to make it worse LOL! Oh thanks for the sentiments, but it's not so bad right now, weather cooled down quite a bit so I'm getting a nice break. Will gripe about the heat again at some point in time in the future LOL. :D

I do love the furball, he's just...annoying sometimes! :D
He remembered our chat the week before Cloudy, I told him when he hears my voice it's Snacktime! :D Cats have very good hearing you know, even with your headphones he heard me and knew it was "time," you were the one who wasn't ready LOL.

Ah yes, the Snub technique, I know it well LOL.

My cat also trips me up every chance she gets, she knows where I'm going and is one step ahead of me LOL.

Evening, all! Just came back from a local concert... Picnic at the Pops, an outdoor concert by our local symphony orchestra along with a special guest. Tonight it was Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (the guys who brought swing back to the mainstream in the 1990s), and it was lively, funky, and fun

It was our first time going, and I have to say, we wimped on the picnic part. We brought a nice spread of cheeses, sausage, hummus, and mango salsa (some of our favorite foods), but we were sorely put to shame. Some people brought small portable tables, set up wine and candles, and all but grilled out there on the lawn!

The expensive seats are at actual tables seated up near the stage, and they looked like they had formal place settings, decorations, and everything. Quite the special event, I must say!

The only downside... I didn't pack enough to drink, and when we got ready to leave... well, so did two thousand other people in many hundreds of cars... it took 20 minutes to drive there, and 40 minutes just to get out of the parking lot when we left!

The kids had a blast, and I picked up a CD from the opening band. They play a nice swinging rock music, and I'm listening to it right now. Good stuff...

Well, more work to do yet tonight, and then it's off to bed. Hasta later... ;)
