ROTFL! You still make me smile :D

I'll PM you. Not sure my received PMs work, I have a few that I'm loathe to clear, but have cleared many. Let me know if my PM box still isn't working please.

What did you think of the LotR films OOI? I kinda think it's hard to grasp the story without reading the books.

That is first class SG. You have a talent, no doubt there. Many years ago I used to draw in Indian ink, I still have a few knocking about...eep, they're dated 1979.

You really do have a rare talent my friend, got any more to share?

That is very classy Sir Goulum

I am after that Nick Cave CD as well Lady Z (Abattoir Blues) I shall have to track down a copy of his greatest hits too :D Every time I do get to a record shop these days I never have any money spare or get distracted and buy another artists CD instead

Thanks, Charlie! I never ever really thought I was that great at drawing, and to tell you the truth, I don't even really do/like drawing very much so I only have a couple. Once I get started on one, it usually pieces together fairly quickly, but I have had many a times where I started something, looked at it, and discarded it because I didn't like it.

Here's the only other 2 drawings I have scanned, one's from way back in February or January and is, I think significantly worse than this one. The other one is only about half done, and the hair is killing me. Here they are:

I can tell you first hand you are great at drawing SG. I know people that would give their hind teeth to draw to that standard. For what it's worth, one of my best drawings started life as nothing, was discarded for months, grew into a birds nest and then into a full fledged picture....possibly my best. I was notoriously slow at art/drawing in school and one picture could span many lessons....possibly due to the fact I used to skive off regularly for a cigarrette, not good for a 14 or 15 year old but there you have it. My art teacher was a proper full on hippy, spent most of his time smoking weed in the dark room of the photographic department...This was 1978/9....All hail the hippy I say!

Don't do yourself down, that is fine work and one can only ever get better...you really should exploit this talent of yours.

Wow... that half-done one looks like its going to surpass the old man ;) Which is excellent by the way... :D

Thanks again, Charlie. I've been sorta toying with going heavily into the arts in university (got a little less than a year to think about it), but they need a portfolio for some things, which is basically nothing atm, with my snail-paced drawing. The art class I'm in for High School is gearing us to create a portfolio, which would eventually be sent off someplace in Virginia, I think, to be graded, but I'm still unsure if I want to do that or not.

Callum- Really? I thought it was worse, myself. Maybe this will give me the drive to finish it though. Will try and post a finished version sometime in the near future.

I enjoyed the movies, actually liked the 2nd part the best. I did hear a lot of complaints though from those around me that "Tom Bombadil?" was not featured in any of the movies. Guess it is a book character.

Dunno re your PM box, seems perpetually full LOL, but I'll give it a shot again then LOL.

Well definitely make sure you have Nocturama and No More Shall We Part Wellard! I haven't listened to all of the songs yet to Abattoir Blues, it has two CDs in it, and again not in a plastic CD case, but a very nice pretty book-like holder with woven material over it. It will be weeks, maybe months, before I can honestly give my opinion re Nick Cave songs, as a lot of them I just plain don't like the first time I hear them LOL. I always stick to the "3 times yer out" scenario re finding music you like, if you hear it three times and it still sucks to you, then forget it, it's not gonna get any better. But a lot of songs grow on you, and three times is the charm, and I find that the songs that takes longer for you to get fond of are the ones that last the longest re replayability.
