Stratos said I should pull Merchantile from Major, and make it minor, at very best. I use this skill so often that I think it should stay Major; but with the huge headstart in Personality that the Lady sign gives, I wish that I had the other Personality skill --Speechcraft-- as Miscellaneous. Then I could fill the void with a skill that uses a GA of Willpower or Speed. I have especially had problems advancing Speed. From a RP perspectve putting Athletics in as at least a Minor makes most sense, since my character runs 80% of the time he is going anywhere.
So what was your question? ;) I think you should keep it at major, later in teh game you'll need all the money you can get.

Thanks, again, for the help ALL of you gave. I still remember how frustrating my first character (and gameplay without the manual) was. It is hard to believe that it was a mere 3 or so weeks ago. Other than the "tweak" mentioned above, I am supremely satisfied with my new character; and I have you guys to thank for it.
Your welcome :D

No wukkas, mate. It always gives me a warm feeling to help someone get into a game that i've enjoyed so much. Bear in mind that the character i described was really a "training wheels" character with few weaknesses. Solely for the purpose of allowing a newbie to get into the game. Now that you've found your feet, don't be shy about creating your own unique character.

Don't worry, NobleNick will be all over creating a unique character. Trust me :D

Yes you did; and I specifically thought of you as included in the "all."

And no, my Morrowind friends, I don't think I will be creating any more characters after this. The character that you have helped me set up is likely the consummate fulfillment of my Morrowind experience. I intend to play this character to the hilt, enjoy the game fully from his vantage point, exploit all the game bugs I have already found and likely will find... and then move on to ES IV. I could be wrong; but my guess (after viewing the promotional material) is that there will be no turning back after I begin Oblivion.
