it sucks to walk to work in that,

I actually prefer temps like that. Sunshine is okay and all, but this heat is insane and makes me want to camp in the shower all day long. I must be one of the few that actually don't mind the cold at all. In wintertime, i have my bedroomwindow open all day long, so that once i go to bed, it's freezing inthere. I love it. With weather like this (36 degrees) i float right out of my bed. :D

...uh, are you sure that's from the heat, and not from that third 12 pack? :D

No beer for me now, not with this heat. People are actually advised not to drink too much beer or other alcoholic beverages in the sun, because you'll get dehydrated much faster. and even though i won't go outside today, i'm losing enough bodyfluids as it is. I choose to refill with coke on the rocks right now. :D

Good advice, I'll tell ya'. Alcohol will dehydrate you fast in the heat, never could understand my co-workers hitting the beer cooler before the water cooler. It tastes pretty good, but it sure messes you up.

Sorry guys, i am starting to feel quite lucky for out weather.

is much nicer now - between 10 - 14 C here today. and the rain has stopped after a couple of days nonstop. Its pretty good actually.

Apart from the fact i had to walk home last night in the pouring rain.

Stratos 07-19-2006 04:21 PM

We had a comfortable 25 C here today.

True_Moose 07-19-2006 04:56 PM

22 C and bone dry which, after the mugginess I experienced in Nova Scotia, is an absolute blessing.

I'm the same. As good as the sun is to go out in, it's a nightmare when you try to sleep. Windows wide open, laid on top of my covers, and still way too hot.

Man its been freezing here in Sydney with cold winds and rain.

think we got down to about 3 degrees here in Penrith some nights with Ice on my car windscreen.

Come on over here TDC, we'll give you our 90+ F weather for a little while!

Gorgeous day here and not quite as hot as last week, but unfortunately I'm stuck inside at the office, clearing out old files and getting boxes of stuff ready to shred. Whoohoo....so much fun I can't stand the excitement. But it keeps a roof over my head and food on the table, so here I go.... uh... just can't find much enthusisasm for checking dates on files.. LOL Of course it wouldn't be so bad if it were just that simple, but half the time I have to crosscheck our computer sources because some of them have extenuating circumstances and we can't toss them yet.
